  • do you had the two guitars chords?

  • great version, but don´t be afraid of singing ;))

  • I'm sorry guys....this is bad. use a metronome or a drum machine. The timing is off and it's a bit out of tune.

  • the sun will blind my eyes, i love you anyway

  • The sun will burn my eyes, I'll love you anyway....

  • the sun will blind my eyes, i love you anyway

  • anybody knows what's going on with Ride today?

  • Now Oasis have crashed and burned maybe Andy will get his head out of his arse and reform with a decent band

  • nice taste :)

  • @ezra0r Fleeting Joys sound exactly like MBV!! nice one. Can i add Sad Day for Puppets in a similar vein

  • Nice pink converse.

  • Put a piece of scotch tape over the camera mic.

  • so fuckin treblely, hurts my ears.

    But its pretty good.

  • Thx to Andy Bell /??? KEEP IN MIND THAT ANDY WONT/OR WONT BE GIVEN PERMISSION FROM NOEL GALLAGHER TO REFORM RIDE ..........

  • Good panty peeling skills!

  • whats the point of this?

  • yeah what is the point of this...

  • then where are those pretty lyrics?

  • Also, glad to see two young folks appreciating music from this great era. If you're looking to learn more of those nice melodic riffs of that time (and not so complicated), check out songs like "Souls in Isolation" by The Chemeleons...nice riff. There's a live version of it on youtube. Also, "Taste" by Ride reminds me of another band called "Lucy Show". The album is called Mania. Good stuff. This was a great time for music...today, not so great (but that's just my opinion). Good job, guys!

  • Music today IS great! Have you heard some of the nugaze bands? Try: M83 - Don't Save us From the Flames Asobi Seksu - Thursday The Radio Dept. - A Window School of Seven Bells - Half Asleep Maps - So Low So High Engineers - Forgiveness Malory - Sleeper Fleeting Joys - The Breakup (if you want to hear something that sounds exactly like MBV) There's lots more... hope you enjoy!
  • I actually looked up the bands u mentioned...Great tracks:)

  • wow malory sleeper was great!

  • yah, I've seen a few different release dates for this record depending on the site. I don't usually research dates, but I got bashed earlier on for bad info. People get pretty touchy, no prob. iTunes shows Dec 18,1990. I'm not a big stats guy. I really love this tune, though...great chord progression. I also liked how the drums come back in at a different place after each break. It was never the same twice. A band I was in covered this song in the mid 90's and we made sure to get that right.

  • I like the high tops. =]

  • hey could someone tell me what the tabs are? :)

  • the opening chord shouldnt be a dflat minor. other than that nice job

  • one of my fave songs of the 80's. Makes me want to grab my guitar and play along.

  • vapour trail isn't even from the eighties. know your music better, if you're going to claim it.

  • Yah, it's from '91. I stand corrected. Wish I cared.

  • yeah you better go grab your guitar to play along to your "fave" song of the eighties.

  • Like I said, I stand corrected. I just don't need the negative advise. There's nicer ways to say that I was incorrect. Eiter way, it's so unimportant. I'm sure Ride forgives me. I got the song on a compilation filled with mostly late 80's tunes. I guess that's why I associate it with 88 or 89. What else can I say? Thanks for your positive and friendly advise.

  • put it this way...you are an asshole. you have to live with that.

  • October 1990

  • Worst episode of Boy Meets World ever.

  • haha

  • Good job

  • thats really neat.

Oh man, how I love this song.

  • I miss Ride :(

  • that's really good playing. Did you found all the chords ? or are there available somewhere ?

  • Really, do it again and throw in the lyrics. You guys have obviously practiced it enough.

  • nice playing.... great song

  • Did Andy Bell use a Rickenbacker on this track?

  • i think so, although he also used a fender stratocaster, a gibson les paul custom and a gretsch, but i think he played vapour trail live with a rickenbacker, i've never seen that, but i've heard it and that's the sound of a rickenbacker

  • is that a gibson or an epiphone

  • it's an epiphone les paul custom, nice guitar

  • Nice to see people still playing this. You were right not to sing if that's not what you're so good at.

  • eccelente!

  • well done David..

    Good music taste too..

  • we're quite shy!! thanx for comment

  • nice playing, but you should have taken a shot at singing
