Banks exhaust: Chevy 6.0L Vortec Max

i remember i pulled up with a 'tricked' out truck that had the VORTEC MAX logo on it, same exact truck as mine, 4 door except mine is an LTZ, and it seemed suspicious because the GM logo that an original vortec max has wasn't on that truck. and he did the unthinkable, he started to rev up his engine and that's when i waited for the green light, right when it went green, i hit the gas and i heard my lovely engine roar with horsepower, he couldn't keep up =)

the 6.0 has 367HP, and the 6.2 has 403HP.

@lespaul12001 only on the 09s and after. before that it was 353hp and before that it was 345.

how is it the chevy 6.0 only has 335 hp when 09 5.7 hemi has 390hp

b/c any truck can make hp, its the torque real truck drivers need, and dodge gassers have never been good with torque.

6.0 in the hd trucks has 335 vortec max in the half tons had more and the new 6.2 I have in my truck has 403 horses ready to kick the shit out of a hemi any day of the week.

@stfuyufamf i got a 6.0L 366HP in my '09 Sub....bone stock and I still can blow the doors off those Hemi fellas..... awesome feeling eh? ... lol

@strumem90 Absolutely awesome feeling knowing you can beat any stock truck you pull up next to at a stop light. I want to race against a new duramax, I think the dmax will beat the 6.2 but it wouldn't hurt my feelings losing to another chevy.
