This episode was hilarious. The Daily Show didn't do such a great job this year on Anti-G20 protests because everyone was too busy shitting themselves about the burning cop cars and so-called-violence. And, I mean, John Oliver is awesome.

I was downtown with critical mass (150+ people riding bikes) and we got police escorts. I was also in the mob of people being terrorized by the cops.

Treated very different in different situations. Police are just part of the machine.

They would not have if the cameras were gone. I walked the whole trip downtown and no cops beat anyone up. Even the guy next to me (anyone remember the guy with Clown Nose? with the loudspeaker?) talking much worse to cops without cameras around. Perhaps without a thousand witnesses they might do it tho :)
