ive been comparing this chinese made of this guitar with my mexican J5 triple deluxe telecaster.

of course they dont sound the same but trust me they both feel sooooo great to play on, there is not much difference in the feeling of the guitar and the wood's material.

change the pickups and you're good to go \m/

I like the looks of this guitar, but it's nothing original. Certainly hard to mess up chrome on black...but, my god, that guitar has some serious tone for a Squier. I kinda want one now.

@GoHabs13 Nope, its a Squier, which sells for about 400 euro. Not a bad guitar. When I was looking for humbucker equipped a tele-style guitar I narrowed it down to either this or a schecter pt deluxe which is in the same price range. In the end I bought the Schecter since I got a special deal on it with over a hundred bucks knocked off the top. The pt doesn't have the kill switch option on the toggle, but I am planning to install a kill pot.

Oh yeah man,ever played a Classic Vibe Squier?One of the best sounding Strats Ive EVER heard,even compared to American,Japansese,even Custom Shop Strats.And I have this old '97 Epiphone Dot 335 I dont know what pickups or whatever are in it,but the neck pickup sounds soooo good its crazy.Maybe if I can get a decent recording I'll put a video up.Everyone bashes Squiers and Epis for being cheap,well thats the idea,affordable clones of the expensive big brothers.

That thing is amazingly sweet with my amp. It has a better tone than some Fender basses ive played.

Then i have a Squire P-bass with a jazz and 2 small pickups. It sounds beautiful.

I'd love to get a Epi Dot. Natural finish though. They sound amazing. Thats what i look for in a guitar, its not really bout the name.

Very true. The Squier Classic Vibe guitars are not overhyped! It's true. they're amazing. The body contours aren't as defined, some of the hardware might not be as good, but these guitars are nonetheless amazing, easily comparible with high end Fenders.

The Squer Classic Vibes are made with the exact same logic as the Fenders of the 50's and 60's were made- a high quality affordable working man's guitar. They are the modern Fender. Fender guitars are now way out of reach for the regular guy. A 57/62 Reissue goes for almost $2000... I have one, and the quality doesn't justify the cost at all.

i bought this guitar a week ago its incredible! it sounds amazing and plays just like a Telecaster.

If you play with distortion, you get a Ozzy Osbourne-like sound , and if you play with a clean sound you'll get a somewhat accoustic like country / blues sound.

Its a very great guitar for that price!!!

Remove the strings, unscrew the entire bridge, remove the plate where the volume knobs are (gently!! There are wires connected!), and remove the switch plate behind the pickup selector.

Squier really seem to have upped their game lately--first the Vintage Modified series,then the Classic Vibe and now this--all excellent guitars.

In fact the quality of guitars coming out of China is now very close to those made in Japan.
