@TheTaoofJKD As I said, he took the hit to the forehead. There are no nerves there that makes it particularly easy for you to get knocked out. Frankly, other than the top of the head or maybe the nose, there is no better place to take a punch to the head (if you have to take one) than the forehead. If it had been a clean hit to the jaw or behind the ear it would be a different story.

@LemonNation People get knocked out because the brain moves around inside their head. That kick obviously had force, as the fighter was leaning in to the kick from Saenchai. The kick had enough force to violently shake the brain, thus causing a knockout.

@daaskapital1 Plenty of people would have been knocked over but not completely went out. I can't be 100% sure how hard Saenchai hit the guy obviously, but it just did not look like a solid shot. Plus, why would Saenchai be throwing a solid shot during training anyways? I think it's safer to assume he was holding back and the kid has a glass jaw.

Not a big deal, that guy just needs to not fight professionally for a living and he'll be ok.
