- to start strigi - type strigi at Alt+F2 (krunner)
- to see the nepomuk info panel for a file (with the tagging ang comments) - in dolphin find the panel called "Information" i.e. View->Panels ...
I can now tag my folders.... yeah!

Ehm... I seriously doubt whether they are using RDF. Not that you must use RDF to achieve the same thing but having "self describing" data makes integration extremely straightforward.

Amazing. A question that comes to me is if the nepomuk daemon will eat a lot of memory and CPU.

what exactly is nepomuk i cant find any straight answeres and do i really need it since it is impossible to get it to compile on 64 bit systems

KDE 4.1 -> System Settings -> Advanced tab -> Nepomuk
