Secondly, Howard does NOT make 500 million. He has to pay people out of that contract.

He made around 70 mil a year for his last five year contract (300-some million).

Sirius merged with XM, because XM was going under, and why not take over your only compatition in the market. The reason why XM Couldn't compete with Sirius , is Howard. Peple where jumping ship to subcribe to Sirius, so they could here Howard. Oprah was already on XM before Sirius took over XM, and couldn't generate enough subscriptions, Mad Dog started on Sirius on Howards last

He's also right about CBS giving the News Talent the shaft especially here in Los Angeles where the CBS Television station let go some of there respectable talent and recently a CBS Radio News station in LA let go some longtime talent as well.

Reason why CBS let them go was because of financial reasons but I don't belive that.

Part of the settlement gave Sirius and Howard access to the entire back catalog of the Stern Radio Show for $2 Mil. I don't know if they had to pay CBS any money beyond that.
