I've known some pretty smart burger flippers in my time. I used to work at a McDonalds and am now an Application Engineer II. Yet even back then, I was extremely talented as a software developer and was simply not given the chance. I like your video, but the comment about burger flippers cuts me deep.
nice video. You know of course that there where wings before there where birds, and that birds unable to fly came from birds able to fly - not from birds without wings.
Kiwis have wings, although they are too small and weak for flying. They are vestigial, which is exactly what an evolutionist would expect, but not a creationist.
The presence of vestigial organs doesn't contradict the creationist theory. Creationists can believe in microevolution, small changes within one specie, but not macroevolution, meaning from one specie to another. Also, it is common, even in the genetic level, to "lose information" (flying bird to non-flying bird) but not "gain information" (slime molds learning to walk&talk), and losing information leads to mutations.Mutations are not equal to evolutions.
Define "information". Why does a penguin contain less information than a flying bird. Furthemore, if you deny macro-evolution, why do you believe that birds can change species. "Birds" aren't one species, so a flying bird and a non-flying bird are not the same species.
Mutations increase genetic variaition within the gene pool that natural selection can act upon to bring about novel traits within a species.
@sciredrocks Macroevolution, while not observable in our timeline as we are a short lived species does occur and it is documented. I don't know how many times the comparison between dinosaurs like the T-rex and modern birds can be made before it sinks in but that is MACROevolution. Humans go through Macroevolution going from single celled organisms to sentient, multi cellular, beings. THAT is changing from one being to another.
@sciredrocks And cellular information is gained in the creation of new cells when there are two or more different 'parent' cells. Case in point any creature that needs a mate to procreate. The resulting cell from that bonding gains information from both parent cells, and then subsequently when that resulting form mates, more information is gained fro that further pairing.
@TheKhzar I didn't say you get more information than your parents. The information you get from your parents makes you. Your information with your mates information makes your offspring, there is an inherent GAIN in information in the resulting cell as it is the combined information from you and your mate. So, again, with two DIFFERENT parent cells (not your own cells inside your own body, or any other cells of exact information as each other) the resulting cell does gain information and cont.
@redwolf602 yes there similar, but dont contain MORE genetic information than thier parents. Tbh you actually have half as much since your parents are 2 people.
People believe in the Bible because they think it makes them special?
Just like the character it thinks that if it spends its time nailing all the tree's to the side of a cliff & than jumps off the edge & he gets the feeling of flight justifies his life?
The Kiwi bird is a flightless bird native to New Zealand,The Kiwi had no need to fly as there were no preditors on the island. Untill people brought them there, pet cats and ferrets nearly made the Kiwi extinct, conservation efforts are helping the bird recover now. In the video ,he gets to fly.something he longed for all of his life.
No. If you pay attention, it was said that they ALMOST were. That doesn't mean they are. I can understand the mistake if you were just skimming, but please double check the things you're commenting on.
ah "nearly". didn't see that. didn't think kiwi were extinct, and my post was 3 months ago. I think i looked it up and posted this just to make the face.
the kiwi thing bummed me out. that was sad.

Mad World. It was originally by Tears for Fears. This is a cover by Michael Andrews and Gary Jules, with a beat added to it.

@sciredrocks so creationists believe in evolution!

@redwolf602 no because you get half the imformation from each parent so you dont have more@information than your parents. This is basic biology mate.

@TheKhzar is different from the parent cells in various ways while still remaining SIMILAR to them because of shared information.

Sometimes a video doesn't need some deep message, just a beautiful moment.
