  • Amazing man...

  • i was sent here by MAN!

  • @JargonSauce

How heartless can you be? People like you who write such mean comments should be ashamed of your self. Calling randy "gay" is a terrible thing to say. Whats wrong with you...? Randy is the real Super Man

  • he's a legend

  • What an amazing guy!

    RIP sir.

  • (3)

Is it reasonable to say someone died of cancer when a large quantity of his organs is actually CUT OUT, and the guy is furthermore being irradiated and fed hypertoxic drugs?

Society's cancer paradigm is just nasty beyond words, just amazing when you think of it, which of course most people avoid. Cut and kill. A butchery.

    ...

I don't see anything "heartwarming" about this video...He put all his trust in science, was subjected to God knows what barbaric procedures besides the pancreaticoduodenectomy, which (wiki: ) "consists of the en bloc removal of the distal segment (antrum) of the stomach; the first and second portions of the duodenum; the head of the pancreas; the common bile duct; and the gallbladder."

  • Note he died about 2 years later; As always happens, he was subjected to massive medical interventions and "treatments" that were -as so often is the case- "unsuccessful".

Consequently it is legitimate to wonder, in this case and more in general, if the actual track record of the medical profession justifies people's total surrender to it, and whether the cure isn't worse than the disease or even: whether the cure ITSELF isn't the disease in many/most cases...

  • "Knowing is not enough; we must apply. Willing is not enough; we must do."

    -Bruce Lee

  • people are glorifying him instead of GOD. sad-_-

  • @lynnone17 no one glorified him. He never asked to be glorified. Your god has too big of an ego, I'm sure he can learn something from this guy.

  • @beenn15 Ha your telling me that after GOD took the time to die for your sins and create you knowing that you would right this comment and your still alive he allows your heart to beat everyday he doesn't deserve praise glory a honor you need to learn something about your creator

  • @lynnone17 That's true. He didn't give glory and thanks to God, not once!

  • @lynnone17 no they are giving him credit for being strong.

  • im sorry but was this guy ever concerned about is soul the guy was telling people how to live that's pity in itself listen to me cause I'm dying everything that guy was talking about was the same thing Jesus talks about. butyour supposed to fear not what can destroy the flesh but fear what destroys the soul he should've gotten saved instead of making fun of spirituality

  • @lynnone17 and he never made fun of spirituality, hes telling people the key to success and happiness is in empowering other, remember the whole give a man a fish vs teach him to fish. you make him sound almost satanic but he even says he is blessed. just because he chose not to include God in his last lecture dosnt mean he dosnt belive

  • Rest in peace Randy. Heart warming story to inspire a new generation of how to live a life to the full.

  • what a remarkable man.

  • Ignorance is bliss eh? Doesn't want to talk about religion or spirituality? I'm not in denial - OK then do you deny all the messengers and prophets sent by God? No? 'Cos you're not in denial eh?.

Wait for people to show you their best side? Really? Well I guess all those black people in the deep south of US who were hanged just cos they're black in the 20s & 30s, or the millions of vietnamese who were napalmed "waiting" for Americans to show them their best side. Doesn't really work does it?

  • @abuhamza1970 I think he was just commenting on the fact that God doesn't exist. He meant he wasn't in denial about his illness, you sound retarded for so many reasons lol

  • @RedWinterHero heres a tip; dont go into a debate about god with a dude called abu hamza LOL

  • Rip Dr.Randy Pauschs u will be missed

  • He is a real super man. Too cool

  • Super man

  • I discovered Randy Pausch's book 2 years ago and since then, I have been telling almost every person I meet Pausch's story and recommend reading his book. It really chenged my life and he was an AMAZING PERSON. Peace be upon his family, Peace be upon him. BRAVO, BRAVO, BRAVO Randy Pausch.

  • And to show their is merit in what I say about you being of a lower brand of intelligence, you spelled pray like this: prey

Prey has a completely different meaning whilst pray means what you tried and failed to spell. Forgive me if I come across as the extremist, but you people tend to piss me off. Think about what your posting before you post it in the future...

Do I have any idea how crazy I sound? Yes I don't make that much sense...but hears a better ? do YOU know how much of an ass you are?

  • And let me tell you something else since your apparently of a lower brand of intelligence. Every christian is not a crazy evangelist as you have DEEMED us all to be in your moronic statement below. You're a very stereotypical asshole you know that? Just because SOME nuts who belong to the christian faith condemn others for their beliefs, does not mean I will and all of us will. So your message is a post with absolutely no premise or grounds to back up your statement that we're all nuts.

  • Wtf are you talking about hyperseauton...when did I ever say a THING about praying to randy pausch? I do not HONOR this man because I have nothing to honor him for...how has randy pausch affected MY life other then saying a few words at a college that are meant to inspire me and nothing more? He HASN'T. You moron, if I am going to burn in hell it won't be for this...and IF I am going to hell I'll see you there with me you dick. Just because I'm a christian doesn't mean I like a backbone.

  • @xAC1DiCx "Just `cos Im a christian doesnt mean I like a backbone??" You can always tell a person with no post-secondary education and poor intelligence, when they cant spell properly.

  • your so young mister, dont let doctors dictate when your going to die, if you want to live longer for your family, believe that GOD can you heal you, and affirm this!

  • The matrices of named illnesses established in the collective consciousness are enormous. It appears to be insurmountable to change collective beliefs, but we can try. Choices inside us make us different than others. Having had experience with the Yuen Method, Matrix Energetics, ZeroPoint Wellness solutions, and Healing Commands I see unlimited possibilities for self-empowerment. The Last Lecture could turn into a new wave...

  • so is he still alive?

  • One of the best speeches I've listened to about the reality of life

  • Here are my hopes: I hope I'll never live a minute having to put my affairs in order. I hope death will never give me a moment of clarity I never experieced in life. I hope I never get labelled by what I am rather than what I'm doing.

  • It's Bill Nye, the Science Guy

  • hope his kids r proud of him, i know i am. rip

  • @xAC1DiCx

Do you have any idea how crazy you sound, like these evangelical assholes opposing environmentalists since they believe they worship the earth and are devilish since it ain't Jesus they prey to.

You go to your hell you apparently believe in.

  • I have learned alot from you!!

  • Well, pancreatic cancer finally has a vioce. It's just so tragic that that voice has died. I hope though, through this man's wise words and inspiring life, that many other lives will be saved through his campaign to get funding to fight this disease.

  • cool guy. i learned a lot in 9 mins more than 3 hours in school.

  • @rampant245 I've gone to school for ten and a half years, and there's no way anyone there could teach me anything like this guy.

  • He was a doctor that helped and will help many. I pray for his family.

  • This guy is fearless and honest with himself. It doesnt even seem like its coming from a religion, just him. His book should be advertised on T.V. not fear induced products and religion.

  • yesterday night at 2 am i hav seen and heard you first time ,i will be your fan and follower ,i miss you a lot sir ,your will definitely rest in peace

  • RIP.. you truly inspired all of us...

  • in the words of mark Twain; Thousands of geniuses live and die undiscovered - either by themselves or by others.

Grateful for discovering you. RIP Sir.

  • Amazing quote, indeed perhaps even ourselves are those geniuses, perhaps who knows...

Randy Pausch, he was indeed a great man.

  • @asianprince911 you should see the full video, its a great lecture

  • @lostthenloved I went as far as to learn a bit about the art of listening itself before paying full attention to the wisdom Dr. Randy had to offer. It if only after that did say what i did as a way to express my gratitude. I do appreciate your comment though and am glad loved and indeed you are :)

  • waoo !

    ** muy lindo **

  • Just finished reading the book, very inspirational! RIP Randy

  • Actually, he's imparting the life lessons he's picked up along the way so that people can achieve their dreams and live their life well.

    You're one stupid, ignorant fuck.

  • The Last Lecture by Randy Pausch

    International Edition

  • please give me the name of his book i live in germany and want to order it on amazon....thank you

  • What an extraordinary human being who took tragedy and made it into something that helped millions. What a life he lead! We should all be so brave. I hope that his death will lead to increased research to conquer pancreatic cancer, one of the types of cancer often lacking in research funds and publicity. God bless Randy Pausch and his family.

  • Comment removed

  • "Natural medicine" as a form of cancer treatment is simply giving false hope to, and taking the money of desperate people in the most trying time of their lives. Please stop spreading that stuff javella80.

  • god bless mr. pausch i just finished his book , an absolute inspiration.

  • GO STEELERS !

  • marianne762 is really Lardass56. A sick, twisted teenage girl who tries to use words she doesn't understand to state points she doesn't understand. She's to be pitied and ignored.

  • Mediocrity cannot be used as a noun. You are obviously an illiterate moron, marianne762. Stop posting here, you're making a horses ass of yourself. Also you misused the word erzats. Get a dictionary, dumbass.

  • Randy Pausch is the man .. RIP .. This shows that you got to chase your goals and passion no matter how long or short u live .. just follow your dreasm .. JUST DO IT!

  • The man has courage.

  • why don't you go fuck yourself, Randy Pausch is amazing.

  • Let's see how do you react when you are in such a situation...

  • Shut up, Paki.

Seems like a good bloke, RIP from the UK.

  • I guess you're not smart enough to have followed the purpose behind this lecture. Suggestion: do some research before you make your assertions. I guess you want to bring this guy down to make yourself feel better about you. Sad. Pathetic.

  • so do you in opposite way!

  • @mohammadhosseini learn how to speak properly before you speak, thanks.

  • amazing man.rip

  • I look forward to seeing him in the new Star Trek movie.

  • "I just bought a Macintosh." Gosh ... I love that line, that changed my world, too, as an artist. However, not as much as he changed my life a bit with his very inspiring words; life can be a gift and there are no short-cuts for sure. It saddens me to see him pass away like this and I'm a stranger ... can't imagine what his family and friends must be going through ... He'll live on forever in so many hearts and minds. God rest his soul and thank you for sharing, very heartwarming~

  • Wow, you are a work of art mariann762. I'll break it down for you. Dr. Pausch is/was a great man. He spoke not just to common man, but the whole world. He helped me want to be a better man, and I'm filled with a lack of faith in society, mostly because of people like you. Unfortunately, I don't have the patience to wait around & see your "good side". God will have to forgive you, because I refuse. I don't worry though, because God's gonna cut you down.

  • Marianne762.. don't you think that no matter how much money he has made the things he said are true and awesome? Seams to me you value life or life experiences just thinking about money. And you can't really leave feelings out if you understand how inspirational this man was. We're all equal when it comes to sickness.

  • R.I.P.

  • I am the common man. He spoke volumes to me. You have got some seious problems.

  • Rest in peace

  • Just under $45,000 has been raised in Professor Randy Pausch's name for Pancreatic Cancer research!! LET'S KEEP THE MOMENTUM GOING! You go to firstgiving daht calm forward slash randypausch and you can join the wave of inspiration. Let's do something PHENOMENAL for this man's legacy and really make an impact in researching this insipid disease!

  • he died :( may he rest in peace!

  • The Scientist Bless his heart and of his family, He achieved true freedom, for his love of life. Religion is the science of realighning the people with their creators, That is what religion is supposed to due. Dr Rand achieved that by realighning ing himself, with the very best of himself, and offering it to the world. In doing so he became The Scientist

  • OH MY GAWD! Just under $45,000 has been raised in Professor Randy Pausch's name for Pancreatic Cancer research!! LET'S KEEP THE MOMENTUM GOING! You go to firstgiving daht calm forward slash randypausch and you can join the wave of inspiration. Let's do something PHENOMENAL for this man's legacy and really make an impact in researching this insipid disease!

  • If you want to give to the pancreatic action network - where he has a fundraising page set up (for research, all of it) you can go to firstgiving dot calm forward slash randypausch

I hope to see that fund grow and grow in honor of this man's memory and in hopes of helping others who don't even know they have pancreatic cancer yet!

  • Why is this about religion? Here we have a great man, sharing his last pearls of wisdom. Does it matter what he believed insofar as it affects what we can get from it? It's something which should matter to him, but not us. Christians, I think it's fair to say that the lessons Dr Pausch gives are laced with Christian morality. Atheists can see them as simply how to be a good human being. If you guys want an excuse to have a religion debate, please don't find it here.

  • Randy had a peace that u ONLY get when you believe in God. He said his faith was private & his father was the most christian man he knew. He also talked about his minister helping him. You loose nthing if you believe in God but gain much. Studies show people with faith accept death, recover quicker, have better relationships & closer families & leave this world w/few enemies. It would be great if one of his kids finds a cure for cancer because they don't believe that brick walls can stop them.

  • I love your comment and agree with you!

  • All I know about religion is that they cause more mayhem and wars then anything else since the days that history was able to be written. So put your "godly morales" aside, and celebrate a TRUE human being for his actions and his legacy. Stop being such a closed minded religious freak, and start acting up what your "book" says... which is probably to be good to all walks of life! (oh, wait, you'll probably interpret that book by stoning someone with different opinion...) peace!

  • I agree, I am religious, but this man was a GREAT man, a much beter man than me. And a much better man than the losers who come here spreading their pathetic self-indulgent hatred from the safety of thier bedrooms

  • "With or without religion, you would have good people doing good things and evil people doing evil things. But for good people to do evil things, that takes religion."

    -Steven Weinberg

  • what a great inspirational man. RIP and may your legacy live on.

  • GOD?

Hahawhat99... with what you wrote, are you following gods will? ... He was a good human being, what else would you want? ...

people like you make religion worst then it already is...

  • If you have seen Good, please send me a photo, There are many religions, even there are others with more time on earth and don't think they botter it, respect other people and if you believe in Good you shoudn't insult other people, be an example of your religion.

For my opinion, I lesson to follow every day

  • When people stop riding you, that means they gave up. Why did I not discover the wisdom of this man before now?

  • My heart goes out to his wife and his three wonderful kids, your lectures will be your legacy to your children. For your wife, God Bless

  • Very powerful stuff. R.I.P Randy

  • rip the world needs more ppl like randy

    (from Singapore)

  • God bless you Randy. Rest in peace.

  • God bless you Randy, and your family.

you inspire me and so many others <3

  • Not only is cancer a terrible disease to get, but pancreatic cancer is the only one that's undetectable until it's too late. Unfortunately, I had to go through this experience with my own mother three years ago. I would just like to say that everyone should live life like "today" is their last day because life is so percious.

  • I only wish that I could as positive as him, God bless his family and students that were fortunate to know him.

  • You can be positive like him just be a little less human.

  • Don't wish it, just be IT! ;)

  • God bless Randy Pausch. He has inspired many people and stands for great values and morals.

    RIP

  • God bless, Randy.

    Peace, Bob Crawford

  • your children have been left a beautiful gift, rest in peace Ranndy Pausch

  • DR.Pausch was such a whole person one very few individuals acheive in a long life. I feel very fortunate to have watched him on the Oprah show an kept up with him on his jouney. I wish his wonderful family peace at this time. Sincerely, Theresa Lammers

  • cbarrett34, can you just get over it? Must you troll every video and whine about why a dying man didn't update his blog? Make something out of your life and not that of others.

  • Perhaps him telling his audience of his 'ten tumors' and '3-6 months of good health left' were an indicator of how bad it was.

  • You need to pay closer attention to the type of disease pancreatic cancer is ... once diagnosed, no chance of survival!

  • I survived it!

  • cool thats rare you must have gone through a lot!

  • thank you...i did but 14 years clean. Thank God!

  • awesome
