  • Hi Braindrain 13, el grupo artista es Heroes del Silencio

  • Quien es artista de la cancion?

  • Nice techniques, nice flow, thanks for the upload

  • The best weapon against any weapon is distance......However, that being said. Find a hard weapon or shield and immobilze, control, disarm and control. If being attacked by more than one. The steps change to Immobilize, Control, Disarm and Destroy each threat one by one.....He who hesitates meditates in a horizontal position. Never Hesitate.

  • Well, my Mum is an ex N.S.A. weapons specialist and my dad is a 17th dan ninja and the love child of Bruce Lee and Cynthia Rothrock and they told me that if somebody has a knife, and you don't, you should get the fcuk out of there if you can, or pick up the nearest hard object you can, preferably with a longer reach than a knife and try to use it to de-fang the snake, otherwise you are going to get cut. Especially if you learned your Kali from the internet!!! Don't fantasise, train.

  • @finkabaht1 lol @ 17th Dan ninja... lmfao... Don't fantasise.... :)) Love Child of Bruce Lee... do you still believe in santa?

  • Jeet Kune Do is based on Bruce Lees Philosophies of taking every martial arts he has learned and putting all together.

Filipino Kali is based on self defense against sticks, knives, etc.

  • @Rip120394 FMAs are both defensive and offensive.

  • @Churchx77 Well I know that lol.

  • @Rip120394 I hope so, FMAs arent just about defense theyre also about offense. Theyre fighting and killing techniques, theyre not just reactionnary.

  • @Churchx77 Yeah I know what you mean lol.

  • what if the knifeguy jabs him in the face and for once try stabbing straight at hi at bellyheight? who the hell tries to use their daggers as swords? (im actually interested, my experience dont go further than movies)

  • @evilbritta When having a knife, you would like to bleed your opponent. It is safer to slash than to stab, since when stabbng, the knife could get stuck and it also take more time to retreat your knife for another attack. Did you see the first slash in the beginning? That slash is aimed for the neck, to make the opponent bleed... Bleed... And bleed...

  • Kali has nothing to do with JKD - jkd is more direct were Kali is more circlular -

  • first technique: leaving his head open for a knockout punch in the jaw

    technique from outside: much safer

third technique: you're pretty much asking the guy to do a fall there, if he knows how to do it, you're in deep trouble.

  • I do this with my little brother, he uses the knife only he attacks me any time of day any where and i have to defend, in a day i normaly die a hundred times and my little bro 10... he as good as any thrug on the street myabe even better then most since my dad was a black ops and navy seals and he teach us his moves with knife and hands...

  • You know you cant really escape a knife defense 100 percent but the important thing is you survive and live to say you finished of the attacker.

  • that's ridiculous.

i hope that guys will never have to manage a real knife-attack.

quite shocking that such bullshit is advertised as "knife defense."

people will 100% die if they try to use that on a serious attacker.

    @MrWeirdoh:

get your ass off that situation.

if that's not possible, fight fire with fire, which means u gotta use your own blade, there's no other way to get out alive.

  • @Bitchcunt As an Eskrimador What choice do you have? you cant always carry your knife around. it can happen at unexpected situations. Our masters make the best of it. And no they wont die, ive been robbed countless times and when i fight back i always manage to get the upper hand though this means im not out in one piece but the important thing is i survived. Well what "bullshit" can you think of when facing a knife? Me i would take it away from him in a snap.

  • @TWENEER5

you've obviously never been confronted with a serious knife attack, you didn't even THINK of that, cuz then you would understand, that u can't avoid shit if somebody REALLY wants to stab you. most victims didn't even recognize that there actually was a knife before they got stabbed, so keep on dreaming about your jackie chan-like disarm moves.. i hope u won't have to experience reality one day.

  • @Bitchcunt Jackie Chan disarms hahahhahahaa wow. Dude im a master at kali and got the same skells as an attacker. How can you not avoid that shit? you want me to let someone stab me? wow if you look at my picture with the m16 i guess you'll see what iam :) and the shit ive been through :D

  • @Bitchcunt true I have done knife and stick sparring I can tell you first hand disarms do not work

  • @Bitchcunt

Yes most the time but then again that why you know your surroundings and never be within arm reach of anyone... my dad is teaching me how to pick out a person with a weapon and even where the weapon is on the person, in a crowed room. He says you can tell by how they hold themself and which side they defend on ...

  • nonsense

  • so what do i do if someone attacks me with a knife in a less strange way?

  • wat is yhis JKD

    jet kun do?

kali is not jet kun do

    its eskrima

  • its spelled "jeet kune do" and since inosanto jkd and kali are going hand in hand ;)

  • @MagZero1 pretty much correct, from when Bruce Lee wanted to know all forms of weapon defence for his JKD Inosanto introduced him to the art of Kali since he new Bruce lee would love the extreme training they go through and from then on Kali was added to his expanding JKD.

  • having been empty handed against a mediocre knife fighter who still managed to nick me 3 times i have to say that the only thing that saved me was footwork.currently i train in siratal saif moro kali & we swing with conviction and also use our off hand unlike this guy with the knife. im just taking it that for the sake of training the knifer is exaggerating his wide movements because even with a training blade it is hard to do the tapping drill entry when the knifer is jabbbing in between cuts.

  • That was staged ..anyone can take the knife in choreographed situation. I find that to be a world about fro am guy who knows how to use a knife.

  • That's why I carry around a collapsible police baton when I go out. Weapon vs weapon is the best way to go, forget that empty hand crap.

  • @Aaecus bet you watched SPL with donnie yen? :P

  • that's a gd technique against a sucker punch but not a knife

  • Somebody knows the music name??

    Somebody knows the music name??

  • useless crap. who fights like THAT with a fuckin knife??? he dont cut, he dont slice. he just put his arm high and does nothing. kick in the groins would be ways more effektiv when uve got trouble with SUCH a punk hahaha

  • load of bollocks. its funny how they seemed ready to spar and then the knife guy just places it for the techniques hahahaha

  • bigwoklun,

I know what YOU are talking about!

TAIWAN seems to keep on promoting CHOREOGRAPHY and DANCE MOVEMENTS than REAL FIGHTING!

BTW, Eskrima is my FAVORITE of Filipino Knife Fighting! Oh, I finally got a Filipino Guy to join my Friend List!

  • Hey man....watch this one: v=1EOFRM4b1rs

  • bigwoklun,

Old School Chinese Fighting Style is REAL FIGHTING as well!

However, the NEWER OF THEIR STUDENT promote it like CHOREOGRAPHY and DANCE MOVEMENTS today! =/

    Bahala Na Multi-Style Escrima....

    watch?v=Zuay6lUrFM8

[See!? One of the Best Filipino Knife Fighting!]

In a Knife Fight, the hands are the most vulnerable targets and closest targets to someone else's Knife!

This is the same with the attack of Knee or Thigh by MMA Fighters out there (closet target to someone's foot)!

  • @bigwoklun he was being taught. You can see the instructor talking him through it.

  • @bastonydaga true. The main thing is is to learn the drill to get the skill and I am sure that the instructor helped him. But therein lies a problem, i.e. the skill learnt only works if your "opponent" also knows the drill. Bruce Lee said that true combat lies outside of all fixed pattern, or something like that....

  • @bigwoklun Well spoken- glad to see a reply can come without senseless/crude personal attacks. The question is then: how can one move from techniques to true combat- the answer is drills, drills, drills! What you do is learn to flow with repetition, then vary intensity, add controlled variables even environmental obstructions, then failure training/adrenal training and unknown attacks. Of course, you can never really achieve "true" combat in training- but you can get as close as possible!

  • @bastonydaga The best thing I ever did was to attend a combatives course. It really opened my eyes. Yes of course you can learn many many drills but drills are like kata in a lot of ways and the combative mindset hardly gets discussed. Its all about the mind. People can fall apart in the street upon a confrontation because all they know is padwork or focus mitt drills.

  • Gotta' love Kali!
