@gqjohnny Was that the original tune? On my copy it was "We've Only Just Begun" by the Carpenters. What's weird is I'm pretty sure that Venus was holding a Carpenters album instead of Gigi.

I'l have to see if I can dig it up and find out.

@deedubya286 It was changed to "We've Only Just Begun" in syndication, but the original song was always "Thank Heaven For Little Girls" (the joke is in the double entendre of the song, and the fact that Venus thinks Carlson wants a "little girl" in a different sense).

@thesafekind You're right. I could so clearly remember Venus holding an album that said "Carpenters" on it but I just checked my copy of this episode and he is holding the "Gigi" album.

Memory is a strange thing, isn't it?

I wonder why the change. It can't be the copyright issue that plagued later releases because "We've Only Just Begun" is not the generic crap that they substituted later.

@deedubya286 I think it was copyright. The version of "We've Only Just Begun" they substituted was a cover version, not an original recording like on the series. It probably was easier to clear than the original recording from "Gigi," they just didn't go as cheap as they did with the generic music later.
