Pass by Borispole custome several time. I am Canadian and frankly, if you think the wait is long to get in UA... never travel to Canada. There you will see smart ass custom agents and long long long waiting line. Sorry but this look more like people waiting when the new terminal was build.... shit happen sometime. Never waited to long at Borispol.

As a foreigner I was there recently and couldn't believe how long it takes to get through passport control, i mean i had been standing for 20 mins, and the line of people didn't even move. and i had to catch a flight within the next 1 hour 20 mins. looking at all the people in front of me, i thought, i am never gonna catch the flight in time. So, i decided to go to Ukrainain citizens passport control, explained to the officer & he.allowed me through in less than 10 mins.
Those papers you have to fill in are just ridiculous! They didn't supply pens or anything, and once I walked up to the service desk I wasn't allowed to walk back to ask my father for a pen. So I just stood there a minute or two before they finally understood I couldn't fill it in without a pen. Other than that it all worked fine though, I love the city!
This is Terminal B which will become the new Domestic Terminal (Last quarter 2011), it is chaos at the moment but will improve, be sure to fill in the form on the plane before you arrive. I usually get through here in 15 minutes max.
Thank god the new Terminal F (Ukraine International Airlines) opens this month and the new Terminal D (International Flights) in October next year. Not sure when the new Terminal C opens.
Comments about people here being rude and unfriendly, I find it the complete opposite, a very friendly country. Maybe those that find the people here unfriendly should look in the mirror, I have seen Westerners (assholes/sex tourists) arrive here with a bad attitude, thinking that they are somehow better and they should be treated like royalty, so if you are an asshole expect to be treated like one.
