Lennon was brilliant tbh, I'd play Joe cole instead of milner and SWP because he's familiar with Ashley coles game so overlapping runs encourage ashley getting forward and Barry/carrick in to sit back and make the fourth defender when ashley or johnson goes forward.

Heskey? I'd like to see Gerrard play the CF behind Rooney I think they'd link up quite well.

Carragher played pretty awful, don't think he should be on the field anymore. also Heskey was a bit disappointing, I would've put Crouch on at the start of the 2nd half.

As for Green...I don't feel sorry for him, but he deserves another chance. I'd say start him the next game, and evaluate whether he should stay as the primary keeper after the first half.

Get Barry in that holding role. Gerrard and Lampard are at there best attacking and USA chances happened in the middle when gerrard and lampard were forward, Barry will do a good job helping the defence.
