All the other guys I have dated have told me I'm stupid to like that show. Also the irony is the guy I broke up with was named Vincent. :(

I came out to my girlfriend in highschool with this song and to this day she says its because of this song she "Understood", and felt what I was going thru and made the whole mess NOT all about her, she knew I was probably hurting as much if not more, with family and society against me. Wow! I can't stop listening!

My first concert was FM in '97 (10 years old) and I've always been a Stevie fan. I'm just starting to get into her entire catalog, though, and this version is hautingly raw and vulnerable... That last note gets me EVERY time.

I love how Stevie can write such descriptive songs, while leaving so much open for interpretation... All while hypnotizing the listener with beautiful melodies and soulful vocals.
