WOW, this must be what happens when you get so good at drumming it becomes boring and then you try to add stuff to make it more difficult. My brain actually hurts after watching this. I have never heard someone say so much and yet say absolutely nothing at the same time. This has to be a joke.
@motodrummer LOL, he actually is saying WAY more than his words. Might not want to post on things you don't understand. It reveals your lack of understanding.
To the douches below. - and Yes, this is dry and music should be played from your soul - Your not progressive and music will not get better via your hands. Enjoy always riding on the backs of giants.
Also, your missing the point. Music is a universal language. This is some breakdown on why and how. Read some books dumbshits. Also, related is Science and Eastern Philosophies. This all leads to God or whatever universal power that was, is, could be whatever. I don't want to go there.
I think this guy did go with out a girl friend for too long...
Kinda trippy but i don't know much about this stuff he is talking about.. alls i know is
1-2-3-4 loop it and theres your drums. i don't think about some Matter and how everything is intertwined (I think someone is just looking into things too deeply)
Thank you for this contribution. I plan on building on this in my life. Although I strongly disagree with the implicit philosophical positions you have taken I think your onto something special.
Oh no, not another physicist/drummer! I've often thought of the analogy between the drum head and the various state of the electron in an infinite potential well, for example. It's amazing to me that the same mathematics (the same wave/Schrodinger equation) describes the physics of a vibrating drumhead, and the bound states of an electron in a potential well. With the exception of Richard Feynman, you're the only other person I know
to have specifically associated physics with drumming.
How many drummers are named Steve Smith?
