I hope you're not trying to imply that the well respected Qari and Imam of Masjid al Haram is lazy and his not bothering to recite with passion anymore. Ive watched recent videos (2010) of Sheikh Abdurrahman and he sounds as good as ever.

his voice has changed because hes gotten so much older. its harder to control your voice as he used to back then but he still recites very very beatifully and has exchanged some of his beauty for emotion alhamdulillah! i was born before this and lived in saudi at this time!
