I found the rail switching system in Sonic Heroes incredibly glitchy. It is possible to skip two rails if you use it fast enough - bad idea if your in the middle of the rails!

I really dislike how the sonic characters are downplayed as the series go on. From being a team, to mere followers of the main playable character(s) who are just there, to the "dbz human side cast" treatment.....

They made the other characters side characters that don't do nothing nowadays cause people keeps complaining about the other characters and 'how they ruined the series' thats the reason we have been getting Sonic only titles in the last 5 years and the characters don't really show up and when they do show up, they're downplayed as Sonic's cheerleaders now and have really minor roles in the games.

I mean, I understand why people would rather play as sonic only but it doesn't mean the character's gameplay were bad(as long we aren't counting this game and big) or should be reduce to characters in the background. The least they can do is make them optional to play like in sonic advance 3 or sonic rush.

I've never liked the idea of Sega removing everybody from the games except for Sonic and Tails. Some of my favorite Sonic games features Sonic and other playable characters and they help give some replay value. I don't think we'll be seeing the other characters or them having important roles in the games anymore as long as Sega keeps listening to the critics and the 'Sonic only' crowd.

@sonicfan1984 Listen to fans is like a double edge sword. It may work for the more recent games but the last time sega listen to them for releasing this game early, the game flopped as shown in this walkthrough. Plus, capcom hardly listen to their fans. The demanded megaman in MvsC3 and what did they get? A costume. I'll be glad to play as any other character as long it's fun because less face it, eventually even reviewers will complain about not playing as the other cast.

It seems like the cool thing for them to do now is for them to bash on the characters whenever they show up, it doesn't matter if the characters or playable or how little screen time they get. The annoying part is that the characters still gets bashed in games even when they don't show up like in Sonic 4. It's annoying.

To be honest, I kinda like the story for Sonic 06, to a degree, I can see this story happen, HOWEVER, the romance thing between Sonic and Elise needs to DIE!!!! that aside, as I said I can actually see this story happen, in his travels around the world, Sonic visits the festival in the kingdom of Soleanna, and while there he meets Princess Elise, after saving her from Eggman. and he has to save her to stop Eggman's plan.

Now considering how one of their polls asking the fans about their favorite levels resulted in Sonic Generations, I wonder if this has anything to do with a remake. Only time will tell, I suppose.
