I hate how a good portion of my friends are simply not really gun people - they just don't get my enthusiasm for firearms. Stinks because Alaska is one of the easiest places to have a firearm - it's almost a shame not to be into them around here. Fortunately I still have a few friends who totally understand, though.
Cool that you're also considering a career in biology. I work with a bunch of biologists (I'm their IT guy) and it seems like a really cool field to get into.

@FateofDestinee I'm kinda wishing I got into one of those fields as well. My coworkers get to do pretty cool stuff, especially during summers (field season). On a side note - I think it's safe to say that I'm one of few IT people who get issued a firearm as part of the job (when I'm out at the field offices in the summertime). And they're pretty cool about me carrying my own firearm, so I often elect to go with that (usually my HK USP C/T .45) as opposed to the issued Remington 870.Cool, huh?

I have this youtube thing figured out sometimes I'm so behind on comments and watching my friends videos that I take a month off from making YT videos so I can focus on my friends stuff and not so much my stuff.
Then I go back to making videos and I get those thumbs downs instantly after my 1 month hiatus. People are subbed to me just to thumb me down. It's like damn dude! It's an honor it really is! =)

Wow... I just started watching a couple of your videos and when I saw this one I was like I thought you were older. You look so much younger without make-up.
Brutal, I just graduated from college a few years ago and school + work=hard enough. Add on another full time job with Youtube and I'm guessing you don't sleep a whole lot. I stayed away from you vids for a long time because I'm kinda a hater of the over production, green screens, outfit changes, etc. However, I recently bought a loaded Springfield 1911 and I watched your take down vid and I do think that you know what your talking about. I then watched a few more and I think you do good work.
@pmprydr No, I really don't... I have a pretty bad caffeine problem too lol I can't seem to get going without it anymore. I like to vary the style of my vids, just to keep it interesting and to give me a chance to do things differently sometimes... so you'll likely continue to get a mixture of green screen ('cause those are fun!) and livingroom-style productions. Thank you... I do think it's important to know something about what ya shoot.
40 hrs a week on YT. how do you do it with the school and homework and your job plus the sleeping. i watch your vids cause you like guns and your funny, not the boobs. As a disabled vet I spend about 16 hours a day scheduling tests, reviews, shoots, with most of the night spent on pre-production, production, and post production work (I take the video end very seriously). what ever time is left is answering questions here and on my weapon website. so I stay pretty busy. I hope you are able to attend the next WI Camp and Shoot (date is set), you are also welcome to come down for some shooting any time of the week or weekend for chronographing, testing and shoots

@FateofDestinee Yeah I picked up my Colt New Agent on Wednesday. It has Trijicon night sights. Can't wait to get to the range. Tore it down and cleaned it up. Wasn't used to working without a take down tool like with my Kimber, so the first reassembly was an absolute pain lol but it's fine now. Hey that SIS is sweet. A dealer in my state has a new one but they are asking a pretty penny for it. Yeah the Raptor is nice. I would go with the pro and also the Eclipse.
@TheEarthBelow I've always been independent like that. Team sports just don't offer the same all-around enjoyment as when I can challenge myself and grow like with "solo sports." Thank you :]

Sometimes, it does take me a little time to get through all the PMs/comments/etc., but the relationships I develop with people on here make it well worth the effort. Brutal, I just graduated from college a few years ago and school + work=hard enough. Add on another full time job with Youtube and I'm guessing you don't sleep a whole lot. I stayed away from you vids for a long time because I'm kinda a hater of the over production, green screens, outfit changes, etc. However, I recently bought a loaded Springfield 1911 and I watched your take down vid and I do think that you know what your talking about. I then watched a few more and I think you do good work.

@pmprydr No, I really don't... I have a pretty bad caffeine problem too lol I can't seem to get going without it anymore. I like to vary the style of my vids, just to keep it interesting and to give me a chance to do things differently sometimes... so you'll likely continue to get a mixture of green screen ('cause those are fun!) and livingroom-style productions. Thank you... I do think it's important to know something about what ya shoot.

40 hrs a week on YT. how do you do it with the school and homework and your job plus the sleeping. i watch your vids cause you like guns and your funny, not the boobs. LOL haha your cute dont get me wrong but there are many peoples vids that i watch and there dudes and well not attractive. i have fun watching gun vids. so after you get a nice nap am i going to get that sandwich. hehe jkjk

spent 4 yrs in the Navy and now I'm in architecture school in Massachusetts, currently looking at Navy Reserves... anyhow, I'd like to get a Beretta M9 this winter but I heard MA license to carry permits take forever... SUCKS, be lucky you aren't in MA. (your M9 video brought me here) Great videos and amazing learning opportunities before we purchase things! Keep up the stellar work!

As a disabled vet I spend about 16 hours a day scheduling tests, reviews, shoots, with most of the night spent on pre-production, production, and post production work (I take the video end very seriously). what ever time is left is answering questions here and on my weapon website. so I stay pretty busy. I hope you are able to attend the next WI Camp and Shoot (date is set), you are also welcome to come down for some shooting any time of the week or weekend for chronographing, testing and shoots

@FateofDestinee Yeah I picked up my Colt New Agent on Wednesday. It has Trijicon night sights. Can't wait to get to the range. Tore it down and cleaned it up. Wasn't used to working without a take down tool like with my Kimber, so the first reassembly was an absolute pain lol but it's fine now. Hey that SIS is sweet. A dealer in my state has a new one but they are asking a pretty penny for it. Yeah the Raptor is nice. I would go with the pro and also the Eclipse.
