@cloudwalker2657 More accurately, The atomic Alignment of a magnet restores to disorder in the presence of disorder.

Because there is so much disorder on Earth, it will loose it's atomic alignment slowly over time. But when in the presence of larger ordered fields, a magnet does Not loose it's Magnetism.

All magnetism is..... is the orientation of atoms making up a material which act as a diode for Atomic Wind.
