English dubs aren't so bad (in fact, some are excellent) but some video games resort to repetitive voice actor usage. I mean there are others that are also good.
Gaara, Dist, Endrance, Lezard Valeth's voice actor...Again. Sasuke, Luke, Haseo and Dallas'(<--That Man's voice sounds exactly like his' or Reks from FFXII) Again too.
...and the same crop of voice actors from the voice cast of Naruto, Tales of the Abyss, .hack//GU and Valkyrie Profile over and over again.
Same goes for usual ones like Wendee Lee, Michael McConnohie and Dave Witternberg.
As for those voicing other guys;
This is my first time to hear Troy Baker's voice acting and it's awesome.
I think Jason Liebrecht could've been better for That Man (love his performance as Faize in Star Ocean IV). They should've just left Lowenthal with Sin (because of the angst). But oh well, it has been done.
Good thing Arksys thought of hiring other voice actors for BlazBlue: The Calamity Trigger.
This brings to mind a Touhou spoof... but what to call Sol and That Man's Spell cards?
I think Sol's be "Limiter release-dragon install"
But in GGX2, it's established that That Man while having his own goals, isn't on the side of evil (rebellious, over zealous servants might be a different story)
Sol's would be "Corrupted Flame", That Man's would be "Proteus", Raven's would be "Live", I-no's would be "Megalomania", Valentine's would be "Non-Sugar" :)
I lost lots of times here. I just wanted to at least get the conversation recorded. Since the one where I actually beat him (also in the video) they're still talking.
If 360 discs had a way of extracting audio (like PSound) you could probably do it that way...but I tried it once and it didn't work out...they're compressed differently.
You should start gunflaming those machines.Saving for an overdrive makes a bit of a disadvantage. it gets alot easier without those things. destroy one of them and go straight to him.
And Gunflame is a waste of time. Its better to take out That Man in 1 round. If he gets too low in health he'll start spamming a new attack thats even harder to dodge.

I figured that out later. As you can see in the video. Half the time when you destroy a bit nothing happens and you still end up dead.
