Dayyum - if The Who are not the best live r&r band ever, then I'm not sure I could take their better. But then there are Brubeck, the Stones, Led Zep, the Beatles, CSNY, etc. Not to mention JSBach, Tellemann, Hayden, etc. "If it sounds good, it IS good!
And zazozung should spend some time listening to B B King, etc.
@amzterdam3000 CSI NY.... just a dead lice attached to the pubic hair that transferred itself to a roadie that once packed up a concert held by The Who.
This was either at The Rainbow Theatre or Shepperton Studios 1978, one , if not the last of Keith Moons performances. Filmed for 'The Kids are allright' . Well worth a purchase on DVD.
What a plethora of information...thank you BTW this is Eddie Vedder's band...The Who influenced him/ You should check out Pearl Jam singing Love Reign on Me. Vedder does an incredible job....beyond fabulous.

@zazozung Even tho Rock evolved from Blues, which was founded by African Americans. Good job there Robert E. Lee, it's 2012, not 1860.
