Really? I was afraid of that based on the heading and now refuse to watch the video. The word social networking in a new and great context is a lie because it has not been done, not in the Internet nor in the society. ForaTV, think please.
we tend to glamorize/romanticize the connections that happen online. at the very best they lead to meeting real people and forging real connections, but that is rare.
it's used for 'networking' for our 'careers' or for our lives as consumers--that's the 'value' as the speaker says
