I think it'd be cool if you did a shorter one, and besides a long piece isn't what I think of when I think of your music. It could be about one morning where this kid is getting ready for school, and when he's going to eat breakfast, his toast falls butter side down on the floor. Boom. End of story.

Oh man, all my favourite music is cross-genre (Nouvelle Vague: Bossa nova/British New Wave, Tom Waits: jazz ballads/junkyard stomp, Why?: hip-hop/indie, Gothic Archies: goth/bubblegum pop)

Some suggestions:

Sadcore Skiffle (melancholy washboard and jugs anyone?)

Beatboxed Waltz (extra points for a zither accompaniment)

Bebop & Western (fast, asymmetrical phrased country music, possibly with trumpets)
