i dont get the people who say "if you're a true fan you will love her no matter what" i think it's so fake. if you like, you like, you're not gonna say "i like it" if you hate it, just to be "a real fan"..?! i personally like arvil's older music and i hate her new music (not every song but most of the songs) and i would never say i like her new music just because i wanna be a real fan. my explanation is not so great but i hope people get what i mean.

I love Avril, her music squired me through my whole childhood. In the last years Avril grow up, now she's a adult, so I don't hate her for. I already respect her. Dorry if it sound a bit hart but Avril havn't just change her life, also in her music. I didn't wanna say that she's the only one, many musicians change their music over the years, but once Avril said that she didn't want to sing any of these mainstream-songs any more, but now she sound more like mainstream, like she ever before did.

It gets a little annoying when people jump on the "I like the old stuff" bandwagon because like a lot of these intelligent posts, artists cannot stay in their teens and you either dwell on the years gone by or appreciate the changes that everybody has to make in life. When You're Gone is every bit as good as I'm With You, and her new CD, Goodbye Lullaby has so many incredible ballads on it, I think it's her best album to date. It's an incredible piece of music.

I don't hate her style, I just miss how she was the only one who could explain my feelings for me through a cd from a recording studio 52.5+ miles from my state.
