  • Even in Thailand, amateurs are required to don safety gears. This is a worldwide WMF rule. If you want to change it, please take your problem to the World Muay Thai Federation.

    However, if you don't want to wear safety gears - don't. We are not forcing you.

    Meanwhile, just do whatever rules you have where you fight/train. No one will criticize you. Its your own rules over in your gym. not theirs,

  • so whats with all the protective gear i fight n live in australia im filipino ive never worn anything but gloves its the only real way to fight mauythai is this rule only in philippines?
