@mja2011 This is not from the Blue Album, it was released as a "B-Side" on the Say It Ain't So single and Blue Deluxe (different from the actual Blue Album). The electic version was released on DGC Rarities vol 1, the Buddy Holly single, and eventually Blue Deluxe.

However, this song has never been on The Blue Album in its normal tracklist.

Weezer sang the original. Dashboard covered it and I honestly think they did it much better. Chris Carrabba flows so much better in songs like these, and replacing the backup guys here (which I think is the worse part of this song) with a girl is a great improvement.

This is certainly an interesting song, and I dno't think that the Dashboard one is better, or that this one is better,

because even if the words are the sam, they don't sound very alike!

Weezer's song, is quite interesting, with different sounding things, while dashboard's is very acoustic, and love-song-esque.

Wow, I discovered this song through Dashboard Confessional, loved it. However, after reading everyone's comments under the commentary for Dashboard, the overall concensus was that Weezer's version is better. Sorry to say, but just because you wrote the song doesn't mean you did it the best. Dashboard gives the song way more soul.
