  • i need this

  • It should be a universal law that NO robot under ANY circumstances should be named "Hal"

  • this brain thing,.. isnt that dangerous,.. imagine, a gf talks to her bf, and suddenly all the lights go on/ turn its color for boredom,.. ^^

  • This is not a demonstration at the beginning. This is Motion Capture programming.

  • Crysis :DDD

  • A VIRUS LIKE SKYNET IS VERY POSSIBLE

  • @TaiAnjingDimakanMaLu What do ya expect when the america is the last dual world power?

  • But what if your at a train station and you just imagine jumping on the tracks with no intentions of actually doing it..would you end up doing it because you thought it??

  • muy cierto los greengos quieren corres si ni siquiera saben caminar, y los japoneses primero comenzaron a gatear y hoy ya estan saltando........

  • CURSED !!!! SOON THEY WILL MAKE THE TERMINATOR

  • To whoever replied to me:

No I do not forget what was happened to the world. However I also do not blame or generalize everyone else. The young generation of Japanese have nothing to do with their grandparents did in WW2. Do you all see your arguments is pointless?

Being close-minded, arrogant and ignorant won't help to prove your pointless points.

  • It'd be cool if it made you jump higher, or land from high places.

  • there's only one problem:

    Japan is ending

  • @IanMilioli lol, so is the US....and the Euro.

  • @McMeevin with tsunamis, earthquakes and radiation all around? I don't think so...

  • i have a question: how do they deal with stuff like wrist pressure? Even if you have superhuman muscles, the articulation is the same, only just lifting a heavier weight, wouldn't this be a problem? I Mean, if you try to lift 50 Kg with one hand, even with super muscles, your wrist will snap, no matter what.

  • @binbashLinuxAhole unit 731, what happened there will change your views about japanese being the most respectful race. search unit 731 Japanese Torture & Human Medical Experiments 部隊の真実

  • @juliuscrister I think you have serious problem in identifying 'past vs. present' topic, Mr. juliuscrister.

I may drag this line off topic: like Jap, German suffered heavy punishment after WW2 for what they had done. However these two races never give a second up. Hardworking and courage flow in my blood as a German, you won't understand my suffers.

Whatever the Jap did in the past won't affect an inch on their reputations today on the world. You should learn from them instead criticize them.

  • @binbashLinuxAhole the point is, that every race and nationality have their own positive and negative reputations. i also admire japanese characteristics. i also have jap friends and we are good friends. i am not against the japanese of today, just wanted to inform you about what happened in the past. and by the way, i'm glad to have met somebody commenting courteously. you know, people in youtube writing senseless comments. i hope i found a friend in you. peace be with you brother.

  • @binbashLinuxAhole Sorry, but that is simply an absurd thing to say. The comparison is completely incongruous. After WWII, the Allied forces pressured Japan into including Article 9 into their constitution, which states that it is ILLEGAL for them to even have an army.

I hate America as much as everyone else, but to say that the Japanese using technology for peaceful means is proof of their cultural superiority is simply untrue.

  • @navierstalks The US bias on other countries make me sick. In general, it's very illegal for country like US and China that have mental unstable leaders to have an army. However fact is this world already fucked up.

And btw, we are talking about how technology can help save people here, not kill. Don't miss the topic. The Jap do great nowadays, even better than UK.

Where is the good spot for US? Don't even mention if it can't even handle free healthcare.

  • @binbashLinuxAhole You seem to forget WWII and imperial Japan. They were a massive war machine, sided with the Nazis, and committed some of the most widespread and large war atrocities in parts of east Asia. Brutal murders of many island and local populations.

However, of course that doesn't represent the country as a whole! Little ol' Japanese grandmas still snuck food to US solders... after guards beat them and tortured them. You cannot character every individual on its government.

  • @binbashLinuxAhole and order their own to step into an aircraft an bury themselves into an aircraft carrier? There is no black and white in the world, all is a shade of gray. Not all Americans like going to war, not all Japanese are respectfull. There still exists such a thing as the individual.

  • @Powgow There is no extreme in this world. We are talking about minority and majority.

majority: Japs are respectful. Americans like war.

minority: Japs are arrogant. Americans are respectful.

  • @binbashLinuxAhole The Rape of Nanking

  • @binbashLinuxAhole

In wikipedia, please do a search for the article: "Japanese war crimes"

  • @r2umam Ironically, I know US war-crimes more than the Jap did.

  • @binbashLinuxAhole

You use the word "race" in your comment. This implies you believe the people of Japan have a genetic/racial propensity to use technology in a more peaceful way than other "races". The actions of the Japanese people during WWII provides evidence contrary to this view. While it may or may not be true that the thrust of Japanese technology today is toward more peaceful purposes than the US, this is not explained by a difference in race/genetics.TheReasonIsBasedInRecentHistory

  • @binbashLinuxAhole I'm sorry, but your comment has a major oversight. Japan used to develop tons of destructive technologies before WW2. But after WW2, the US made Japan sign a treaty stating that they will no longer have an armed force, except for what is necessary for protection. Because of this, Japan is able to instead focus it's sciences on social technologies instead of weaponry. It's not different intelligence. Respectful? Some yes. But not everybody is "respectful".

  • @SlaMastaX 'Japan used to develop tons of destructive technologies before WW2' So the US had its right to use destructive weapons then? A-bombs? In war there is no good people.

'US made Japan sign a treaty stating... Japan is able to instead focus it's sciences on social technologies instead of weaponry.' Your comment makes no sense on supporting your country, bro. Look at US, still no free healthcare. Where all the taxes gone? Wars? So the big bully boy learned nothing from the little guy?

  • GET AWAY FROM HER YOU BITCH!!!

  • God i cant wait to see these on armoured riot police, finally they'll be able to kick some ass.

  • My sex partner will LOVE this!

  • @MostEnvious its from iron man

  • Alright, I can't remember what movie was, but some guy gets into an experimental power suit and suddenly the suit torso twists 180 degrees? Well anyway, lets hope something like that doesn't happen.

  • @MostEnvious Iron man 2

  • @NigelGriff Oh yeah! Thank you, that was driving me nuts that I couldn't remember.

  • @MostEnvious Iron man 2.

It was released like.... yesterday or something :s guess it was forgettable

  • Holy crap! you people commenting about this like it could take over the world are very stupid, please stop taking made up movies like Terminator seriously. If you want to contribute to society then figure out ways that you can use this technology for helping people rather than destruction...

  • Oh, hi Skynet. I didn't see you there.

  • 1:32 hothothhothot hothothothot

  • I love how the ad it displayed over the video was for something called ROBOPOCALYPSE

  • oh shit, Japan will be the 1st nation that gonna have people walking around like the npcs from the Deus EX game.

  • NANO SUIT HERE I COME!

  • "used for game machines" o.O PS4 mecha suit edition!!!

  • The military and intelligence complex is 25 to 50 years ahead of what you see in print, television and on the computer. It's safe to assume that they have used advanced bionics in covert missions. The six million dollar man is a reality.

  • @bdkalltheway you give the military way too much credit. Most of their gadgets are failures and do not justify the tax payer money spent. Remember the patriot missile? didn't stop one SCUD missile, the Israelis knew this.. Predator drones? 50 civilian deaths for every 1 "terrorist" killed. I will give credit to one military system that has benefited humanity and has generated more revenue, knowledge and productivity.. the internet.

  • imaging yo fall in water and the things senses get confused and rips your legs from your body.... lol.

  • BASICALLY don't start a war with Japan.

  • Just Wondering how much dos it cost ?

My best friends cousin got huge problem with walking after his mother was taking drugs while she was pregnant (stupid bitch) now his other aunt is taking care of kid so me and him were wondering of buying one or even making one just to make his life easier. If anyone knows place were I can get blueprints to make one I will be great full (any type doesn't have to be electric). aww and yerr please don't hate :p

Making people around me smile just make my day...

  • erm...yeah,we're all basically dead

  • HAL, open the pod bay doors please.

  • Crysis is near i can feel it ^__^

  • anybody who has ever seen MD geist. or played Halo sees exactly where this is going

  • omg the beginning of cyborgs

  • Oh, yeah, cool.

Put HAL and a computer with artificial intelligence and then this computer can control your body, and make a giant army of augmented human slaves.

    but that's a cool invention.

    Superheroes era might begin

  • i'd like to see one of these Robot suits covered by some kind of plastic... like an armor... you know?

  • JOHN CONNOR, WHERE ARE YOU?

  • LOLAWUEHAIWUEHAWUHAWE

  • This is completely unnecessary, what we need in this world is a zero point energy battery. No oil or gas, no wars.

  • yeah, i know this history...

lets wait for iron man, this time probably he is in afghanistan building the mark 1

  • We're in trouble, aren't we?

  • blink *red*red*yellow*yellow* woman: MANIAC! you want to look at my boobs! hint: DO NOT USE THIS IN CASE OF SEXUAL NEEDS. *red*red*red*red*red*red*red*red*red*red*red*red*red

  • sadly the US will use this for military and then the next era of war begins sighs

  • Cyberdyne...humm...Skynet...Terminato

  • have it used to help out on those earthquake disaster area, tehn we'll see if those things really usefull...

  • Does it have a part that attaches to the penis? To correct erectile dysfunction...

  • i was about to say 'fake', but then i saw they're oriental

  • Actually the inventor is a science fiction fan ... that's where he got the names. The assist products like HAL are vital to Japan's future, where the population is older and younger people aren't having any babies to take care of the elderly. That means robots and old people working longer and taking care of the elderly. The HAL boosts human strength and mobility.

  • Not impressed with the performance of their suit but ... I love where they are going. I like their thinking :). It is really on the path to fun :). Everyone has to start some where.

  • So when do I get my own personal Six?

  • Digging for news!

  • where T101?

  • wait ...... Cyberdyne ? Perfect Dark ?

  • @thatdutchguy89 You're thinking of datadyne.

  • We are Human, resistance is futile.

  • 0:26 socks in the bra

  • Put a jet pack on it

  • @MikeFromTheUK1 yeah, and when the singularity finally comes a prince comes along and kisses us and we all turn into beautiful maidens :-D

  • Can we PLEASE see a video of an elderly person using the suit. That is the point of it after all, isn't it?

  • my name is actually HAL

  • GOGO MECHA WE WANT GRANDIZER

  • Right, giant apocalyptic disasters and robot suits.. yup- Japan.

  • This + enclosed armour + bigger total package + guns and lasers = GUNDAMS

    Japan has gundams.

  • iron man

  • Ugh this is so February-2011... The March-2011 model have Fins.

  • The Japanese, helping to realize my dreams since 1990.

  • i'm confused.

  • next step is ironman´s step

  • So when they are going to be used to help the tsunami victims looking for what could be under the mud

  • tron

  • this is a great achievement for the disabled in the world, the only thing I'm concerned with is that soon our dependency with technology will become too far for anyone to do anything for themselves. But i must say i love this.

  • Good afternoon, gentlemen. I am a HAL 9000 computer. I became operational at the H.A.L. plant in Urbana, Illinois on the 12th of January 1992. My instructor was Mr. Langley, and he taught me to sing a song. If you'd like to hear it I can sing it for you.

  • @Koolaiddewz Daisy, Daisy...

  • next item on the list : i robot

  • Maybe it could also be used to generate resistance for exercise?

  • @Shalek thats what i thought when i watched it, specificaly when they talked of it being used for gaming. Wii and Kinect would have nothing on that as far as healthy gaming goes.

  • ironman lol

  • Cyberdyne? HAL ? Really amazing considering all that mankind has been through. But really ?

  • Oh CYBERDYNE makes a product called HAL and we're supposed to act like nothing evil just happened and let them take over the f*cking world?!?

  • @Olchardwell Dude once i named my computer Hal........the screen went multi color, the sound started making a high pitch screech and then commenced to open every program on my computer before green screening. (not blue screen, green screen)

  • @Olchardwell

Not like America hasn't developed EVERY weapon of mass destruction on the planet or anything,....

  • @Olchardwell ...Yes :D

  • @Olchardwell when cyberdyne becomes self aware, it will be able to lock in the user to its exoskeleton and make it kill other people....

  • Yeah, yeah, the Japanese are not fooling anybody with all this talk about helping the elderly and "entertainment" (I'm not clear on how a robotic exoskeleton aids that, by the way). We all know the next step here are powered armor and giant mecha.

  • @GoblinXXX he means like using a glove to control your game or minority report on your computer

  • @Yiyas Oh, just what we need, an 80 thousand dollar Nintendo Power Glove.

  • @GoblinXXX We can only hope.

  • @GoblinXXX maybe be ur right, maybe not.

  • @GoblinXXX Entertainment: check out the plot of infinite stratos.

  • @GoblinXXX ironman! LOL

  • @GoblinXXX

But we NEED them to fight off the Angel attacks!

  • @Schokioki I'm sure the Japanese are also genetically engineering quasi-sentient hamsters with the ability to generate 100 thousand volt bio-electric charges, too. To, um... Help... Uh... The BLIND! Yeah, that's it! To HELP THE BLIND!

  • @GoblinXXX More weight....heavy gun slung on right arm. Powered wheels behind heels. Give it a little turbofan...xD

  • @Blueoriontiger And don't forget, this is a Japanese creation, so it'll probably have a big gigantic SWORD, too! (The ability to combine with 4 others will come later.)

  • @GoblinXXX Nice i like the way you thinkin!

  • @aries1g I'm working on designing a brightly colored skin-tight jumpsuit and animal-themed helmet for the operator... Either that, or a schoolgirl uniform.

  • @GoblinXXX Its not that complicated. The exo adds support and has small built in moters that add extra lift to the wears. The sensors detect the impulse to moce that limb and adds the support to that limb. Its like an automated spotter for a weight lifter.

  • @GoblinXXX It is true that Japanese take good care for the elderly. However this is indeed just the first step to new weapons/armour.

  • whats the point of the helmet? fucking random

  • @roki92 Hey, we NEED to be able to make sure people have brain activity in the form of colored lights on their heads... For like... Social.. And stuff. I guess. (Actually, you're right, no damn idea what purpose that could serve.)

  • to be used in the next project.. related to aerospace and defense in the west

  • Cyberdine? LOL

  • de design is clearly mangaish

  • This seems to be much, much easier to implement and upgrade than implanted body limbs.

  • Wtf this is a product of CYBERDYNE, somebody find John Connor.

  • @leopert22 You mean HIDE John Connor.

  • Yay, just more great advancement intended for the betterment of humanity, only to be financed by & developed for the privet armies of the world's 1% richest people (which most still think are National/Multinational Defence Forces - lol), regardless of how much he wishes to deny that inevitable fact.

He should have worked on it in privet to become the worlds first Superhero - alas.

  • @the26thhour If only he were an alcoholic billionaire with a sense of humor.

  • @GoblinXXX - lol - indeed!

  • hmm.... now all they need to do is make it compact but the arm one looks actually really awesome.

  • first comment wooooo and i <3 diginfo news

  • @satsuki26 lame
