In the original book of The Count of Monte Cristo, it is said that one girl thinks that the Count is a vampire because of his striking looks, mellow attitude, and his whole demeanor. When they made this series they took all that into consideration and made this Count more of a vampiric figure. But I highly doubt he is an actual vampire. Though this Count is rather charming. ;D
@Alucardlovesjessi that goes to show Dumas's creation be they the character/s or storylines are forever more evergreen, they can even transcend time and space :) especially THE COUNT OF MONTE CRISTO
Well said. It seems like a simple enough story at first glance, but it has a deep sinister feel to it all-- it makes you want to see what happens next, even if you're a little bit afraid to know. :P
I gotta learn Japanese :)...as a native Cantonese speaker I find Japanese more pleasant to the ear (just my opinion hehe)

This anime's awesome, but with such a cynical aura, I'm CAN'T believe we were allowed to watch this at school.

duh, you guys. The place is called "Luna"
Luna-Lunar-Moon.
Isn't it like...italian or something?
And i don't think he's a vampire....? I think he's a demon, or rather someone possessed by one?
sessy654 2 years ago
Yeah it's Italian, and Latin as well.
According to wiki, "The Moon is occasionally referred to by its Latin name Luna, primarily in science fiction."
Remember that in the novel this section takes place in Rome, hence I suppose the Italian name for the Moon.

He's probably not a REAL vampire, just like has the stuff that makes people think of vampires. Like cold skin, no eating. You get the deal.
