Two things you could do to avoid an accident right there; slow down to shorten your braking distance and ride a little bit further right so you can be seen more easily.
@pedroaguiaromundo Actually this is my iphone. I bought a cheap rubber cover for it, then I went to home depot or lowes and got some heavy duty velcro. I put the hook-part of the velcro on the inside of my helmet by the mouth area and put a square of the soft-velcro on my rubber phone cover. Now I'm using a Flip Ultra camera, I rigged a little hammock out of soft velcro straps. and just stick it inside the helmet. I'll make a vid showing it, but its quite simple. Hope that helps for now.
@bedsheetmonkey flip mino is thinner than the new iphone? i guess it's smaller since iphone is almost a small tablet lol.
i tried velcro using my nokia n95, but im very big nosed and it pressed painfully too much against my nose. im trying to fit a generic md-80 below my eye, cuz only place with space, but the angles make it a bitch.. velcro turned out to be a lucky shot and it bouced a lot.. thanks for your reply
@pedroaguiaromundo no its def not thinner than the iphone. i'm not sure about the new iphone but my iphone doesn't get the full picture as you can see. It's vertical, i just liked the flip cuz it shoots HD and regular screen size. But it will probably be uncomfortable for ur nose, it is a little for mine. my helmet is a Scorpion 400, maybe a bigger/different helmet would give you more room. also try looking up HD mini spy cameras, i was thinking of getting one eventually.
@pedroaguiaromundo Flip Mino is an even thinner/smaller camera, that I think, still shoots in HD. It's probably much more comfortable than the Flip Ultra stuffed in your face.
@bedsheetmonkey last wednesday 20/4, my b-day, i went for a ride and a taxi failed to stop where he should, i honked and he didnt even look, i snaped and gased it to pass him and complain, and he decided to go left, making me slide braking into his side, was slow speed i didnt fall.. i think he was drunk, claiming to be lost with a passanger.. i soooo wish i had it on film =/
@rextinctione Thanx! Yeah, it would be one thing if he saw me and was inching forward the whole time. I would have slowed down and let him cut through. Instead he was looking down at something (probably a phone) and came half way into my lane in the last second when I was a few feet away... Gotta have eyes on the back of your head when dealing with people that can't see farther than their noses...
yeah I know what you mean! a use a dashcam and not all the time can you be prepared but you have to keep an eye all around you! I dont know how it is on a motorcycle but I have idiots that do this crap to me too and I dont know why they claim they dont see me!

Phew, that was close. The driver must've only been looking for vehicles with 4+ wheels. Good thing you were paying attention.
