  • Serious issues like this require us to do things we normally don't do to draw attention to the problem. If you are bashing this lady, tell us how you are helping people in need.

  • yuck. That is all.

  • This was a cheap stunt that exploits the homeless for political gain.

    Shame on Stone.

  • like brother like sister.

  • This wasn't an "outreach project." It was you, understating the obvious. To whom did you reach out?

    Your public image?

I mean, really...you learned that people would give you money if you dressed nicely and would avoid you if you dressed like a bum? Imagine that!

Well, if your brother Jeff ever ends your gravy train, at least you know how to dress to keep up your car payments. Oops, did I just assume you MAKE car payments? Aren't you sucking down public money to drive yourself around?

  • Wow... I wish I could $100,000+ kickbacks from my brother the politician to do phony baloney social experiments. Your homeless person looks like a reject from Grease.

PS- 30% of homeless are people

  • This lady didn't realize people who are homeless are looked down upon and treated differently before she did her "experiment"? Ummm...OK.

Was that a new Nissan Z convertible she pulled off in? Did she buy this after she had to give back the county car her brother gave her to drive?

Glad to see her working hard for the 150K her brother pays her out of his campaign contributions.

  • 30%?? I'm calling BS on that one.

  • It's a shame that we as a society have come down to this, Good job Lori for putting in our face were it belongs because it is our problem. I hope those panty waist liberals will see that this is how it is in the real world

  • National Coalition for the Homeless states one of the fastest growing populations are families with children. These are working parents who suddenly find themselves unemployed and without income, housing, food and general wellness care. They are your neighbors, former coworkers and close relatives. As a hunger-relief advocate, I see daily the number of working families seeking help with basic needs like food and housing. Thank you, Ms. Stone, for showing us concern vs. scorn for those in need.

  • "More families with children are becoming homeless as they face mounting economic pressures, including mortgage foreclosures, job loss and bankruptcy. Homeless Vets account for a large share of those on the streets as well. Great job Lori Stone for continuing to keep this issue of humanity at the front of public discourse. Thanks for putting yourself out there to benefit others. God Bless!"

  • I want to thank the clergy, congregations, non-profits, and the private sector for stepping up to the plate and assisting families in need in Riverside County. Also, I would like to thank Judy Zulfiqar from RKR Media for assisting me on this outreach project.

    Lori Stone

  • Finally, someone who really cares for others and is unafraid to put herself out there to prove a point that today's homeless individauls are not the sterotypical people who beg for a living. Lori Stone should be commended for walking the walk and talking the talk to raise awareness of families and single moms who are on the verge of becoming homeless and desparate for help! Good Job Lori, God Bless you.
