This looks like John Koehler's place, of "growing your greens"..is it? I heard you mention, "John" and the house & front yard looks like an earlier version of it. I guess you are no longer with him since this was 2 yrs ago?
this is john kohlers home of growing your greens and i still live here today, you can click on the underscored "enovalee" to go to my channel to see my current vids i have here too
where are all the people like this? i need a neighbor like her to teach me some edible plants , and to make noodles from a plant is awesome. please send me a link to learn some of this
well if you are talking about johns channel, i am jaded because he dumped me and went on a trip to FL with a new gal. however, i still work for him and love what i get to do in the garden and with raw food prep for personal assisting in his routine. thanks for your interest in these ideas and steps towards growing food sustainably and to be self sufficient......love, nova
for all your anwsers. it is the same garden with the real owner, john kohler giving advice. i am just one of his employees and am not allowed to pick the lettuces.everything tastes good fresh out of a garden though! love nova
anyway, the theory is that heat destroys the vitamins and living enzymes that give a plant its vital nutritional life force. so eat it raw whenever you can, i do still enjoy warm food myself though, love nova
On the squash noodles, just grow spaghetti squash! bake it cut in half, 350 for 45 minutes with olive oil spread. When you scoop it out it falls out into spaghetti.
How long is your growing season where you are? Trying to figure out how to go from a lawn to a full garden near the mountains here in Colorado, and am trying to figure out where to start.
I know you said before you live a raw foods diet. Does that you mean dont eat meat and don't cook your food?

A really nice overview; thanks! I'd like to know the names of some of the varieties you like best -- like the (non-bitter) red lettuce and kales...
