so you are using sand ?Like the kind of sand in the sand box for children ?wow I cant believe I didnt think of that ?I will try it .Where I live sand is very affordable I will buy it in bulk and have it delivered ...I will let you know how it goes

@denasewell - No it is the brand called "Ever clean" - it is quite expensive and not the best for the environment as it is not bio-degradable or extracted in a cool way from nature. The best one I found that lived up to both cat requirements, odor requirements, human requirements and the environment = best for all, were a product made from potato waste. It was from factories that produce instant mashed potatos. Unfortunately the brand stopped producing. So this is unfortunately it for now.

hey thats a good idea- placing the food 'up' a little bit so they don't have to bend over so far to eat. That's probably uncomfortable for them.

I use crushed Pine Tree Cat Litter. It is all natural and safe for your Fluffy friends and human, you can dump directly into the toilet. This product is getting popular in the USA .

How about in your country? Do you have Pine Tree products?

@planetcoco1 - I used something similar in the beginning, but the cats does not like it - the pellets are too big for their paws. I considered how I could feel using those pellets and decided to go with something that the cats would like. The only one I found that had both combinations was a product made from potato-waste, it was soft and fine yet bio-degradable. Unfortunately the company closed and stopped producing it. Something soft like that would be awesome.
