I have to give a shout out to Christopher Pettiet as Jesse James. . .
It is incredibly poignant to watch Jesse James ride away to his inevitably doomed future because Christopher Pettiet took a down-hill spiral of which he never recovered after The Young Riders wrapped.
Jesse James was the greatest role Christopher Pettiet would ever play and died of drug overdose at the age of 24 an impoverished has-been living off of small residual checks in Los Angeles.
Mick1810 you are absolutely my favorite youtuber! I had never heard of this series before and thanks to you I now have a new favorite show. I just wish that I could get all the series for myself but int he mean time I am going to buy season one.
Mick yer the best I had the fist season on DVD and was hoping to get the 2 and 3rd on dvd but does not look like found these died went to heaven have spent the last 3 weeks d/l season 2 and 3 putting them on dvd so I can watch them on the tv thanks again.
Thank you so much! As hard to believe as it is I think I enjoyed the show more this time around than I did 20 years ago! Truly wonderful of you to post all these. Thanks for all the time and work you put into it.
well it is over i just have to say thanks for posting all the season i remember watching with my mom we both loved the show so good work mick. just one ? what is the drink that they all ask the bartender for. thanks
I kinda like the way they ended this episode on a sombre note. It was the grittyness makes this such a good series.
Just have to comment: At the beginning where was Buck when the army and other riders where riding through the river? Surely Cody would have been scouting ahead?! Sorry, but I tend to notice if Buck's not there! : )
And at the end, since when did they have girl bugle players? Perhaps she wants to be just like Lou!! ; )
I'm just so glad that jesse made an appearance at noahs funeral and bid a last farewell to his rider family. So sad. Love this show, only discovered it maybe 6mths ago, through being a fan of christopher pettiet (jesse james). Don't no if this show ever aired in Australia though.
Thanks so much Mick1810. I remember the first time I saw TYR I was 8 years old, and I loved it, and 20 years later STILL love it. One of the greates show ever, to bad that i only last 3 season. I spendt my christmas and new years watching this. It was well spendt. Again Mick1810 thank you so much...XOXO
But thank you soooooo much Mick1810 to post this great show. I've enjoyed a lot watching the 3rd season, just the only one I can't get anywhere. At least I can watch it here everytime I want.
Just wanted to join the others in thanking you for the series. I watched it as a teenager and it had helped me through some though times, and now, again, I find it a great comfort to relive all the powerful emotions caused by the stories (even if they are just fiction). Cheers!
You know, it was a little shock to me, when I find out, that You posted all episodes. After 20 years I finally watched third season! It was a great pleasure. I cried like a baby, when this episode ended. Thank You, so much, for these past fiew weeks! It was priceless time ;)
Thank you, Mick for posting all these episodes. I hadn't thought about this series in a long time and never did get to watch the later seasons. Now I remember why I so enjoyed watching it as a young teenager. You have brought back fond memories and inspired my muse to write some fan fiction too! Again -- thank you!!
Thank you mick for all the time and sacrifice it must have taken to post this. It has helped me relive a happier time in my childhood that now I get to share with my two daughters. Seeing how their eyes light up when they hear the opening theme reminds me of myself; And has helped them take their young minds off the terrible year we have had if only for an hour. Thank you again so much again.
You are very welcome! I'm amazed at how many people I've met through posting this show! I loved it when I was a teenager and I too have had the chance to sort of relive it with my two kids so I know exactly where you are coming from.
:( i cant believe thats how it ends... ohh well i have an imagination i can make it up. everyone lives happy ever after and stays friends lol. thanks mick.

I loved the show and as a hs history teacher it is the closest to the truth as you can get and still make it fiction. Thank you so much
