Im not sure which movie it is, but I know the director said he wants to stay true to the game instead of just copying the game into a movie. So it will probably be part of the game and part of fall of reach..

Peter Jackson didnt leave. The 2 studios, Universal and Fox backed out of it because they thought the budget might go over board. So then Microsoft put the movie on hold, but Peter Jackson is still on board. He loves Halo so I doubt he will leave.

Its coming out, but not anytime soon. They thought the budget might go over board because not every studio likes to greenlight movies based on games. I mean remember Doom the movie, it didnt make alot of money at the box office so Universal was dissapointed. I really hope Universal comes back and takes over the Halo franchise so it comes to HD DVD exclusively. Im also really glad that Peter Jackson would still be involved if they ever made the movie..

but we arent talking about Doom here. this is HALO man, the single most popular game series ever made, second only to Half-Life itself. If they just stick to the technique used to make the Believe commercials, then there shouldnt be any budget issues and the movie would look fantastic as far as vusual effect goes.
