  • You know, the washing scene seemed really weird to me when I first saw this movie. It was very awkward and I didn't really understand it. Now after like the 5th time of watching this movie I get it. It's supposed to be awkward and weird because Beethoven doesn't trust anyone before Anna. He's finally realized that he can't treat people like crap and expect them to like him, so he makes himself vulnerable by having her wash him. It's intimate and vulnerable and only someone he trusts can do it.

  • Well at least she didn't have to wash ALL of him...

  • 6:12 is that the Diabelli Variations? or should I say the Anna Holtz Variations :S

  • is there a point to this scene? Is this somebody's idea of sex or perhaps romance?

  • 0:40-0:58 My town!! Sopron!!! Orsolya tér, Szent György-templom

  • the song at 0:41 has a name?(of course)

    but ???

  • @SoadaroW

    Op. 133 Große Fuge

  • @Sprengladung at 0:42 the music!! are u sure is Op. 133 Grosse fuge?

  • @SoadaroW yes

  • @Sprengladung i've heard it an hour ago and is that one D:

  • @SoadaroW it isn't, it's the opus 131, the last part of the music piece, NOT 133.

  • @plagueofangels666 the fuge was publish as a different opus than the quartet it originally was in as the finale. He was persuaded to write a new finale for op 131 by the publishers for a number of reasons. I don't consider myself much of a purist in many things but in the case of op. 131 my playlist has the fuge as the finale as it was originally written. I just pretend the replacement finale doesn't exist, the fuge is far far superior to it anyway.

  • @Sprengladung Thanks a lot its a nice song :D

  • omg if i had a wish, it would be to spend a day or more with beethoven.

Cause hes a legendary crazy old bastard. xoxoxo

  • how is he hearing her?

  • Guys HELP!! What is the piece that starts at 6:24 ? I'm searching for it like months and I'm wondering is it real or it is made only for the movie.

  • @dragonguardian350 Dear dragonguardian.

She play the Variation No. 9 of the Diabelli Variations opus 120 for piano. Have a nice day.

  • @RAREpicture I HEARTILY thank you for the info! :)) I appreciate your response! :)

  • people shud get the message starting at 2:15

  • A brilliant composer...and yet he cannot BATHE himself?!? What is this?

  • @Moon0Royalty When he bathes himself, he ruins the Goulash.

  • @Moon0Royalty The great Ludwig Van Beethoven doesn't have time for such commodities as bathing!

  • anyone know what the name of this song is??

  • You mean the song advertised in the video by itunes, "Anna´s Etude and Variations" by Waldemar Malicki from the Copying Beethoven soundtrack?

  • a strange thought occured to me: where did these ppl shit?? n clean with water or cloth?

  • A pianist, a piano tuner, a conductor, a composer, a nun... she's everything.

  • And to boot, she's not even real!

God works, or doesn't work, in mysterious ways.

  • beethoven is that n a violinist as well...plus he makes simon cowell look like a punk! dam talented guy; too bad he suks with ppl...except maybe anna

  • I wish they would have grabbed each other and had passionate sex instead of the "wash me" situation :-)

  • Its not all about sex...

  • Maybe not, But it would have been less awkward than that washing scene.

  • it is but a different kind...

  • me too. me too.

  • Beethoven seemed to be very sorry, when he had let his big mouth and his sarkasm hurt someone, - if he chose to like that someone, man or woman :D

  • does he love her? o.o

  • @ilaban5 mostly Beethoven fell in love with his students, being young women and everything, kinda seemed to him that he was appealing to them due to his talent. Poor, poor Ludwig van.. Yeah, in fact he is in love with her.

  • in the backround of 7:05 you can kinda see beethoven sleeping! its too cute!

  • omg... is he begging forgiveness or proposing? haha... it's brilliant how he cares about her

    undressing... WHAT????

  • 1.00 I love the way the nuns flee before Beethoven.

  • was there a real anna holz?

  • No, she is a fictional figure

  • its her composition i think

  • No no

it's from Beethoven, in movie Boenhoeffer, there is that played too

But i don't know what song it is at 6:13 i'm searching for that for weeks and month

  • its weird...hahahaha

  • omg what is he doing... undressing infront of her?????????

  • that was noral n that time, it was a gift for someone to be washed

  • at 6:13 wich song is that?
