@TheStunningdunning As for why I like them, it's because: For Spyro: Better combat, secret items in the 3rd game, a fantastic story. Crash: A great innovation that can be built on (Jacking Titans, Crash's combat), good comedy (not as great as TwinSanity, but still), unique designs. And many ideas that can be implemented from the old games to improve this, but not make it a simple platformer. Sonic: Great ideas in each new game and the best came with the Werehog's massive moveset.
@vgman94 I just love the original games, I'm not a fan of the changes. I'm aware that people do like this game, that's their opinion, and that's on them. Look at the mario series, that has simple platforming/controls and still puts out fantastic games! 1st, we must clarify what is a "good" franchise: A good franchise doesn't repeat a formula more than it's worth. A good franchise innovatves it's gameplay core (not just features like power-ups), it allows for character development or refreshment. And unlike Mario, it doesn't stay the same for nostagia. I have a multitude of favorites. I have no single favorite. My favorites are: Sonic Unleashed, the 2 Radical Crash games, the Legend of Spyro trilogy and God of War 3.
You have an interesting definition of a good franchise. Wouldn't you agree that Mario has made a few attempts to do something different? All the side games (Kart/Party), Sunshine, Luigi's Mansion. It sounds like you might be a PS3 gamer, sweet. I like the nostalgic feeling of old games, but I don't obsess over them. Maybe it's the current mechanics of the Crash games that turn me away.

I never use PSN or any online stuff), but I grew up with the PS1, PS2, N64 and Gamecube The Dreamcast as well. What do you mean? I have many ideas to reinnovate the gameplay and try to improve on the game without going back to the old formula completely (though I have ideas for Crash to have a beat 'em up version of invincibility and using the Crystals and Gems for gameplay purposes).

Mojo first appeared in Crash of the Titans. Only blue mojo was used and they has multipliers. Sierra made this game have a bigger expansion of mojo, colorwise. Blue ones are 1, light purple are 5, dark purple are 10 and yellow ones are 100. Mariofan110 told you all about the mojo value in the video before this.

And he's voiced by Greg Eagles, Grim's voice actor in that show as well. He was the only char I liked of that show...

What do you mean? Turning him into a "terrible load of ass"? More like badass... Ok, that's overrating it, but not by much. Crash can punch, kick and in a better term, just has some good physical combat, he has the unqiue ability to Jack his enemies. Nothing's bad. And the designs: I like them. They look more 21th Century-ish than the outdated look of the 90s. They also don't matter. People buy games for their gameplay, not to look at the designs.
I was very critical of the new Crash games, mainly due to their new look etc. but I think this looks fantastic. If anyone has ever played the Ape Escape series, then you can tell that Radical Entertainment definitely took inspiration from those games.

Yeah! I think they would've died out also if they had not changed. They tried to stay the same with Wrath of Cortex, TwinSanity, Enter the Dragonfly and A Hero's Tail. We needed new stuff to make things interesting again. There's more interest in the new games (both positive and negative), but a lot of people don't want to move on. I think it was the nostalgia plus they liked it better when it was easy sides i like the classics more then anyone but come on people these games are fun they are more challenging they have new stuff that makes it even more fun and plus it has more then just pressing 2 buttons to do everything if the game companies just stuck to the classics all the time they would all be out of buisness this stuff is new not just with new stages and bad guys but with cool new features and gameplay.
Exactly. The new games have more moves, more attacks and just some new things and that's better than repeating the same formula 10 times because it gets boring. Nostalgia is fine and all (i like playing Crash 1 sometimes because of it), but new features and gameplay makes the Crash series a little more interesting again. That's another good point. Sticking to the same formula would make the series died out eventually because people would get tired of it.

Repetitive Titan crap? Very funny, but it's more complex and less repetitive than spinning and jumping almost all the time. I HAVE played the old games and all of the game of the main series without being baised and i found the new games to be better. Yes, that includes the new designes and comedy. It's great and better than the simple stuff of the old days. There is nothing wrong with the old games, but it gets really boring after a while. This really renews interest in Crash Bandicoot.

The whole story of the mojo:
Mojo first appeared in Crash of the Titans. Only blue mojo was used and they has multipliers. Sierra made this game have a bigger expansion of mojo, colorwise. Blue ones are 1, light purple are 5, dark purple are 10 and yellow ones are 100. Mariofan110 told you all about the mojo value in the video before this.

What do you mean? Turning him into a "terrible load of ass"? More like badass... Ok, that's overrating it, but not by much. Crash can punch, kick and in a better term, just has some good physical combat, he has the unqiue ability to Jack his enemies. Nothing's bad. And the designs: I like them. They look more 21th Century-ish than the outdated look of the 90s. They also don't matter. People buy games for their gameplay, not to look at the designs.

I was very critical of the new Crash games, mainly due to their new look etc. but I think this looks fantastic. If anyone has ever played the Ape Escape series, then you can tell that Radical Entertainment definitely took inspiration from those games.

Yeah! I think they would've died out also if they had not changed. They tried to stay the same with Wrath of Cortex, TwinSanity, Enter the Dragonfly and A Hero's Tail. We needed new stuff to make things interesting again. There's more interest in the new games (both positive and negative), but a lot of people don't want to move on. I just don't understand that part of things. Yeah, you are great too.

I think it was the nostalgia plus they liked it better when it was easy sides i like the classics more then anyone but come on people these games are fun they are more challenging they have new stuff that makes it even more fun and plus it has more then just pressing 2 buttons to do everything if the game companies just stuck to the classics all the time they would all be out of buisness this stuff is new not just with new stages and bad guys but with cool new features and gameplay.

Exactly. The new games have more moves, more attacks and just some new things and that's better than repeating the same formula 10 times because it gets boring. Nostalgia is fine and all (i like playing Crash 1 sometimes because of it), but new features and gameplay makes the Crash series a little more interesting again. That's another good point. Sticking to the same formula would make the series died out eventually because people would get tired of it.

Repetitive Titan crap? Very funny, but it's more complex and less repetitive than spinning and jumping almost all the time. I HAVE played the old games and all of the game of the main series without being baised and i found the new games to be better. Yes, that includes the new designes and comedy. It's great and better than the simple stuff of the old days. There is nothing wrong with the old games, but it gets really boring after a while. This really renews interest in Crash Bandicoot.
