@ayom91 Scarlett is much bigger than the hollywood average. She has natural boobs, bigger legs, and a softer body. She's not a size zero like the average hollywood woman and she's beautiful. You are mixing up curvy with fat clearly, because a woman with a flat stomach, boobs and hips is curvy!

@WomanNredd um, no I'm not mixing up curvy with fat. I think that if Scarlett is going to be labeled "curvy", then we have to apply that to all other celebs that have an hourglass shape. which is many. I dont see her as being that much curvier than the rest.

@ayom91 The problem with your line of thinking is that there aren't even many skinny girls that are also curvy in Hollywood. Look at who is allegedly hot, from reading the supermarket rags like In Touch or People or Us. It's bony bitches like Sarah Jessica Parker or Jennifer Aniston or Keira Knightley. All rail thin with bony arms or the rib bones on their chests being visible.

The meaning is very much skewed these days!
It used to mean a woman with an hourglass or pearshaped body, or somewhere in between, and with some meat on them. Nowadays its just used to descibe any woman that is above a UK size 10. I'd say shape is the important thing when it comes to curvy. Salma Hayek and Beyonce are curvy examples. I wouldn't say Eva Green is curvy. She may have boobs but otherwise she's up and down, but she has a nice body.
