My mother used to feed a squirrel in Central Park; one day it became a tad too excited and nearly bit her thumb off. They are fun as long as you remember they are still wild and can carry rabies; because they are mammals.
Nothing could be more delightful than a squirrel...except more squirrels. I've had five generations or more at my window sill over the past ten years, each and every one looking for a handout of peanuts, almonds, walnuts and seeds. They never go home hungry when they come to my place!
no they aren't. they are wonderful animals- and can be very entertaining. plus they are HARMLESS, sweet creatures. Educate yourself! They are great animals

usually one squirrel becomes many squirrels. beware they are only rats with pretty tails.
