It's not even a proper cover.. the band just improvised and jammed it one night before November Rain, and then they kept doing it, and Axl started joining in, and now they do it every night. Basically unrehearsed. Sounds pretty good to me.

@StopRunningKid I dunno. To be a literal twat about it, yes, GnR did play it. But it was really a unique thing of Pink Floyd's, and they are the only ones to make is AMAZING, and I think that's what he was trying to get across... Rather than attract people to be a dick towards him.

Im pretty disapointed. But no wonder, just try to understand my point. These guys, theirs distortion efects, they are just not from these era of music. This piece of music by Mr. Gilmour requires a "feeling" which they certainly does not get. Simply - solo sucks as hell... Same goes with replicating Slash, they cannot do that either, cause it has to have that feel, without it its no more Guns. But as a cover, its pathetic, they should not touch the music they cant play or feel. They are over.
I remember on an MTV interview when AXL said one day he wanted to bury Appetite... I think when this band is banging on all 12 cylinders they will do it! I miss the old GNR, I been thru 3 cassettes and 2 cd's of Appetite. But when Axl figures out what it is he's looking for musically, their gonna break wide open. Like him or not he's pretty fucking amazing. He didnt hardly play a tune for 20 years and he was still hounded by the media! I think C-D was an experiment, not the cd we are waiting 4.
