how much did the build cost? i wanna know because im gonna start on a older car like yours and i just want to know what i have to save in order to build one. but cool car you need to weld up the headers better at the flange but its a great car and i think its also funny the camera guy doesnt know how to rev an engine by the throttle linkage.

Nice to see somebody using a motor other than a small block Chevy or a Big Block crate engine. Back in the fifties and early sixties Cadillac, Buick, Oldsmobile, and Chrysler engines were the engines of choice for most hotrodders.

It's a term from at least the 50's...and probably generations before that. A Throwback is a guy living in one era......but yearns for and leans towards and generally has the all-around vibe of a previous generation. Your rod is a total Throwback. Noticed a little bit of an exhaust leak on the middle port. Cut yourself some exhaust gaskets from a piece of dead soft 1/4 inch aluminum plate. that will take care of that!

definately not a ford motor.. only ford that the center cylinders shared an exhaust por was the flathead (Im 99% sure) probably an old buick nailhead or olds rocket motor.. offy intake by the looks of it, who knows

Its a caddy. Nailheads have vertical valve covers and 4 exhaust ports.
