CPU's are so dumb in this game just look at mario in the beginning. They're to scared to jump off of the land but that when u taunt them to death XD

You can make better stages if you use stage hacks to overlap. Lets you pull all sorts of crazy stuff.

Aye, but in order to do that you need to use either the drop-through floor (which looks tacky since the ladders don't meet) or lots of holes in the stage (which can break the fighting areas up too much)

I tried making this before, but I couldn't get it to work. The problem is you can't have ladders that actually lead to somewhere in custom stage mode. The ladder either stops at a dead end or in the air.

Aye I know the feeling well... Even if they did lead somewhere, you could just jump up anyway. Still, despite it's limitations there's still plenty you can do :)

It's funny when the head falls off the Hammer. It's saved my life before. Once, that happened, so I picked up the head, threw it at the Hammer-user, and I won the match because it sent him flying away. It was hilarious!

I made one like this so in training mode you can be DK and your friend will be Mario and you can actually stack barrels up and throw them and they will make it down...or they will faill and just bounce in the air after hitting the first turn *shrugs I edited it like 10 times wat am I gonna do but still it sweet....

If you want a suggestion, Make the stage bigger, and replace some of the ladder`s top`s with those platforms you can press down on to go through, it would look abit different, But at least then you could go up.

I've actually got a version like this ;)

It's not bigger since it already takes up most of the large stage map but it does have drop through platforms with half ladders. I'll try and post it up for you this week.

Well im saying bigger to compensate for the fact that your going to have bigger lack of the falling platforms. And it could look rather....akward.

Unfortunately the way I could set it up without going over the limit was to have an even amount of blocks per level. If I put it to either side it wouldn't look right so I settled for a double ladder compromise.
