It'd be great to have someone like Ed Schultz in the Senate, the problem is that in this environment, and especially in North Dakota, liberal views are being rejected by independents and the few moderate republicans who voted for a bipartisan idea of Obama. The problem that Dorgan is having right now is that he is facing a GOP governor that everybody loves in that state. There is no way that someone like Ed Schultz could make it in a state like North Dakota, and Ed has a lot to lose now.

If Ed ran he would make a great Senator for the people of North Dakota. The 2008 election showed there's a lot of motivated Democrats up in that part of the country (Montana, the Dakotas) if only they have the right candidate.

IAM, and the Democrat solution to helping the middle class is....take more from their bosses! A brilliant way to help them get raises. Oh and thru Social Security, make them pay 6.6% themselves and make their employers match that instead of having it to give them in raises, even though the program originally stated it would never cost more than 3% of your paycheck after 1948. So, taking more from your boss, and making you get less in salary is the way to help increase incomes...to Democrats.

Superannuation is the best way to stop inflation, minimize interest rates, reduce long term spending on retirement pensions and medicare and it doesn't rely on borrowed money nor is it a "tax".
