Please watch the "Making of" (click on the red box at the beginning). Or compare it carefully and you'll hear the differences... It sounds the same in the beginning because I sampled the a-guitar from the original. But near the end it sounds totally different!

"Audacity" can do that but only with audio files. You can download it for free. Then go to the menu Effects -> pitch.

I do the instrumentals in midi which makes it easy to change the key without losing quality. I do that with "Cubase".

Thank you! I edit the pictures with "Photoshop". Then I arrange them with the lyrics in "Powerpoint" and export it as mov. At the end I put the movie and instrumental together in "iMovie". I know it's a bit complicated but I don't get along with the iMovie functions..
