The resonator bottle is on the intake arm on N/A's. If you remove the arm from the box and throttle body, you can pull it out and it's the big bottle thing on the bottom.

Most people take it out and replace the hole with, in my case, an orange juice lid, and clamp it down to keep it in tight.

It's not for performance, but it adds a sound to your car that is nice and aggressive. My GF at the time went for a ride with me when I was done and she said "It makes your car sound lik

I bought a Magnaflow exhaust muffler with a tip for it. and how your car sounds is what i have been trying to get mine to sound like. I dont want to tear into the exhaust system without knowing how to make it sound like that and having an actual answer that will help. message me please

Thanks man I just picked up can primer and can paint from Advance. Just do thin even coats, sweeping motion, 20 minutes between coats.

Sorry, this exhaust has been sold for a while now. I wish someone had bought this, the guy who did ended up cutting it up and using it for a rear turbo setup on his 3S.

A test pipe replaces the main cat. If you are a TT or (96+ N/A), then unless you gut your precats, then yes, the precats will still be there even though your main cat is out.

Only 91-95 N/A's and all GTO's came without precats.

Hey, I had my marine buddy and I take a breaker bar to the 4 bolts, but I've heard of people having to use torches and even take them to exhaust shops if they are rusted on there all to hell. It took a lot of effort, using body strength alone, but we got the cat off and test pipe on in maybe 35 minutes.

The exhaust is for sale, not the car. And as for the color, it's Amethyst Pearl, a very rare color for these cars. I've only seen maybe 3 others in photographs, and that's it.

Sorry, the piping diameter is 2.5 inches. I wouldn't want to choke out your turbos. You can pick up a single shot from IPS that will fit the TT.

I never went WOT on any of the videos. I was always just driving easily just to get an exhaust sound. The first redline video I was at a stop light and waited for the cars to get a good distance in front of me, and I didn't want people honking behind me.

I raced a V8 mustang, and accelerate faster than a V8 mustang and Audi TT, but they have the advantage in their later RPM's.

oh yeah well now that you mention it...it didnt say the year so i assumed that it was the later gen based on the acceleration, the fact that the ac things were manual and not digital, and the base rims; but i now i looked at the actual body i noticed the wing and the lights, etc....sorry... it is a 2nd gen
