The McCartney guy is Alan LeBoeuf and did 409 shows at the Winter Garden theatre on broadway in the late70's in Beatlemania .....he also has 7 straight Top 10 Country Hits with "Baillie and the Boys" and played over 5000 shows with this group in Epcot Center in Walt Disney World, Florida ....a very very busy right handed "paul" ..... I'm sure he wishes he were left handed but he has never had another job except music .....very rare these days!

Theres a Beatles tribute band called AMERICAN ENGLISH. When the real Beatles promoter heard them he was so impressed that he`s now their promoter. Theres another band called LIVERPOOL. When a friend of the Beatles heard them he sent a tape to John Lennons sister.

There is a group called the Liverpool Legends that preform in Branson, MO. Their manager is Louise Harrison (George Harrison's sister). She said onstage that should would never associate her name with any Beatles Tribute Band unless they could accurately portray the look and sound of her brother and their band.

Yeah I know. The only thing the George guy had that was similar was high cheekbones. Other than that, he didn't look alike at all. He was good at guitar and singing, though.

This isn't The Bootleg Beatles, it's Rain - The Beatles Experience, quite possibly one of the better tribute bands. Just saw them in concert last week at Santa Cruz. They've got an awesome act, they dress up as The Beatles from different eras, i.e. The Ed Sullivan Show, Sgt. Pepper, and Let It Be and sound just like them too.

The guys from RAIN and BEATLEMANIA know each other personally. At times some members of RAIN would perform in BEATLEMANIA and vice versa. I saw both bands in concert.

Dick Clark came out with a t.v. movie in the late 70`s called BIRTH OF THE BEATLES and he got RAIN to play the Beatles. Paul and Ringo put a law suite on them for portraying them in the movie without their permission. When the movie was released they had to announce at the beginning of the movie and in between commercials that the band in the movie is NOT THE BEATLES but a band called RAIN. I saw RAIN twice.

This is not Rain.....It's Alan LeBoeuf as "Paul" and Shawn Frederich as "John".....this was in Florida and I believe it was the "British Invasion" playing some place other than there home in Epcot Center.....Alan is a former cast member of Beatlemania and performed 409 shows at the Winter Garden Theatre from 1977-79....hope this helps.

Let me help you a bit more. That is in fact Alan on Bass, Shawn Bryant as George, Gilbert as John, and Tim Harrington as ringo. I know this as I am also in the band from time to time..Cheers
