  • me mataste con esas fotos la dura que son hermosas que no daria por aver vivido en esa epoca puxa que deve haver sido hermoso haver vestido y bailado esta musica saludos de chile

  • @Himmeppie, Don`t be hard on yourself. I was born in the 40`s and grew up with Fats Domino music and others of that era. You are right those were the best of times. But just as times change when you are older these times will be your memories that you will look back on as being better. Todays times are the good old times of tomorrow. This will always be. It`s human nature.

  • I'm 48. the late 50's and the early 60's i missed. But the rest I consumed. Enternollie get it!

  • I think that's Ron Howard, the movie director, in several of those photos, when he was a teenager. I was in High School when Fats Domino hit the charts. Love his music. Yes, that was an era to be remembered! Thanks AK47bandit! It's great to hear the original versions. :-)

  • a classis by a classic.

  • Im only 22 and I love Fats Domino's music. I never have been much on the new stuff. I love old music from the 50's to the early 90's. I dont know why, I guess cause its actually music. I also remember sitting in the floor of my grandfathers house looking through all his records as a kid. Great Music

  • @country2818 i'm 17 and i also only like music from 50's to end 80's, i was born way to late growing up with crap like lady gaga and bieber

  • Comment removed

  • @enternollie93 i'm 16 i respect you and by the words of Jack Black in Brutal Legend i wish i was born in the early 60's

  • @AndreiFizicianu allright!, seems there are still people of my age listening to real music!! :D

  • @enternollie93 this is my type of music

  • I am 70 now and loved all of the rock and roll music of the 50's and 60's but the one that stands out is Get a Job by the Silhouettes!

  • Fats Domino was the bomb! He had so many hits! I broke up to this song. I was 15 and thought my world was ended. Now I don't even remember her name! Great song!

  • Haha, Harrison Ford is just a kid (roughly 30) in :49. Pre Star Wars. Now he's like 70. I can hardly believe that. I fell in love with him from Star Wars. Still have that crush today.

  • I was born at the right time. I was 16 when this was released. The effect is still the same.

    Alan

  • @alanseago Woow thats really amazing, no lie!! I honestly wish i was born in the 50's. That's when dancing and music was everyones hobby right? Ohh dear lord! lol you're very lucky =]

  • October Sky FTW!!!!!!!

  • I heard this on school ties and i loved it since.

  • I love this song.

  • Yea me too!!

  • Ooooh :D I like this song~!! I heard it when I watched October Sky in science class :D!!

  • yes, indeed...the old, familiar pattern with all of these great classics...hundreds of "thumbs-up," 1 or 2 jack-a**es who vote "thumbs-down."

  • i got this song from october sky

  • great movie!!!

  • oh man i remember this i was 7 yrs, old when this came out. i was blessed to have been born at the start of rock and roll man....

  • Reminds me of my childhood...but I'm only 20. grew up with this music anyway! Reminds me of when my mom would have the radio on an oldies station, and I'd dance around the living room! haha!

  • aint that a shame? (about the music today)

  • @kallemick LOL! That's a funny joke!

  • @sheltv100 thanks

  • this song came out when my grandparents were dating. :)

  • mp3iiiiify is better than ever with 256kbps HQ quality mp3 conversions plus vevo downloads. google mp3iiiiify!

"you made me cry, when you said, goodbye, aint that a shame, my tears fell like rain". :D

    best part. :3

this song is great, can't get over this song. :)

    and whoever doesn't like this song, go take a hike. (;

    lol. XD

great song tho, going on my favorites. :]

  • awesome music, it has so much heart to it. these guys believed in and felt what they played, and it shows so sweetly =)

i was born 30 years after era too, but that's why "timeless" is so apt and fantastic =D

  • I'm 15 and absolutely love 50s music. A friend of mine met Fats Domino once and didn't know who he was, but his grandmother did and he was with her. I'm so jealous of him. That would've been amazing to met him.

  • I don't know why I like this kind of music so much, I was born nearly 30 years after they were over.

  • im a 90's kid but the 50's seem so badass

  • great song, i was born to late...was born in 64..would loved to have been born earlier..love Rock N Roll it will never die

  • I was born even later .... 1996 my mum, nan and well everyone say that i should have been born in the 40's so that i grew up in the 50's 60's era.

  • @cazzie1964 - You may like a song from that era called "I was born too late" - The Poni Tails.

  • In '62 i was 8 years old and about the time i got my first transistor radio (maybe sooner)

anyway, this is the kind of song they were playing

  • he sounds so sweet.

    <3 fats

  • great song, one of fats best

  • I heard this on an advert selling Rock n Roll CDs and fell in love with it. The part where he says "Aint that a shame, my tears fell like rain" reminds me of the Alley Cat from "The Aristocats"

  • great song

  • Fats Domino have a nice voice!

  • DoctoTron (the dip shit) your one of those douche bag people who shoots off your piehole with no thought process involved, go climb back under your rock and rot.

  • Wow when do u grow up?

  • LOVE WOLFMAN RIP

  • Amazing. Fats Dominois a legend. This is back when music was good. Music died in the 90's.

  • You could say that is a litle hard!

I agree, they are makeing a lot of S### these days, but music is alive and there is alot of Great artists makeing alot of great music, today!

  • Yea, your right, sorry its just that I was annoyed cause I had just had an argument with someone who said that music is good if it charts, and she said she hates music more than 10 years old. She was obviously wrong, and shes dumb anyway, so that says it all, lol.

  • I totally feel. It's funny that she won't listen to music over 10 years old, because for me, anything LESS than 10 years old is about the point where my musical knowledge fades out completely. Long live the classics!

  • correction music died in 1959, also referred as "the day music died"

  • @kay333ate644

kay speaks the truth, R.I.P Holly, Valens, Bopper

  • kay...1959 when bopper, valens and holly died is a sad day for sure but in my opinion the music died in 1977. Elvis and the original Lynyrd Skynyrd (Mr. Van Zant) passed about 2 months apart. Almost anyone can tell you where they were and what they were doing when the news broke that Elvis had passed.

  • It really is amazing how much thinner people were in those days.

  • What is more is amazing is how almost anything you listened to was pleasant, unlike the crap music of today. I can't think of of bad song from the 50's.

  • You mean how people could carry a tune with very little backing music, vocals, or machines to clean everything up?

  • No.

  • way to have an open mind, sir

  • Thank you! Beats crappy music of today, like I said, you know, Britney and mainstream crap.

  • @heavymetalrulz123

Sure does. I can never get tired of listening to this!

  • except for Fats

  • Now THAT is funny! :-D

Do you live in the states? People might be a litle bigger on those parts.... You crack me up! LOL

  • I was also born in the wrong time.

  • Oldies are cool

  • I love this song so much! : ) I was born in the wrong time, this is quality music

  • @jmiceli63: I agree!

  • @jmiceli63 I wish I was born in the 70's

  • @TheNewRiflemanBob I was born 1950 ... this is from the 50's, however, I guess this is from the movie from the 70's. You would probably like one of my father's favorits from that tim, Blueberry Hill by Fats Domino.

  • @edb081904 my fav is Speedo and then Yakety Yak

  • @jmiceli63 Of course

  • @jmiceli63 You just summarised everything that is wrong with my life. These were the times to live in and we MISSED IT.

  • From Chinese in Asia Fats is the greatest Nigger entertainer in the world! We wish this great Nigger would come to Singapore he would sell out! ASIA RULES THE WORLD
