  • a band called "owen" covered this song. really good cover. check it out!

  • genius!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Someone instructed I look this up because it was, according to him, the worst possible tune for having intercourse.

  • Love the catchy feel of this song. The vocals are their usual brilliant self.

  • the 80's were great

  • @mistyblue373 No the 80's were not great. Mister Mister and all that poxy crap. Producers had a bank of digital technology to play with and didn't know how to use it. The Smiths were great, not the 80's.

  • @alexandermorison You're nuts! The 80's were the shit. Enough said. I'm glad to say i'm stuck in the 80's, musically.

  • @bgvic33 Well I was one of the poor musicians who had to go and make demo tapes in those days. We didn't play New-Romantic or Duran Duran music but you walked out of every recording session (sounding like that) with good tunes but crap production. Everyone was living in a Grand Theft Auto world. Dolby and digital were horrible. Still are.

When we finally got released, I didn't even bother with mastering.

  • this reminds me of being a kid

  • Girlfriend in a coma is so wonderful. Two minutes of brilliant music..

  • arrrr the smiths, it reminds me of my football hooligan days in the mid 80s..good goup..

  • when i first heard this i laughed my head off!

  • Friend sang this at karaoke last night. Got a great laugh.

  • LOL :-)

  • Serious subject: whimsical tune. Wonderfully black.

  • I concur. The best.

  • @adamtzsch that is the best description of the smith's and morrissey's music I;ve heard yet
