That's the first part of the Dragon Sword's ''special'' Obliteration Technique. You activate that by pushing foward-y rather than just y on a legless humanoid enemy. When you do that it in midair (with the right timing) the OT doesn't activate but the enemy is juggled instead.

@shamrocktattoo sigma is the same as this. sigmas was the first game for the original xbox so actually both are exactly the same. the game in the combo is ninja gaiden 2 and guess what its the same as ninja gaiden sigma 2. so dont say that sigma sucks because in reality both games are the same

but enemies...you have got to be kidding me.

ng2 you cant id enemies with lvl 1 weapons while in sigma you can. you can upgrade all weapons in 1 shop if you have enough money in ng2 but only 1upgrade per shop in sigma.

enemies in ng2 have higher AI and they have like 5x the amount of enemies, although somehow lower hp and atk than sigma(especially bosses have huge difference).

so i've just begun this game on ps3 on normal mode,awesome game btw:) but i still couldnt wrap my head on the button timing to perform Izuna Drops. every time i press triangle to lift the enemy up,Ryu just stays on ground and most of the times i kill the enemies before i could give that enemy a 2nd go,lol. arrrgh,this is annoying,i wish i could perform Izuna Drops more freely.

@azzimaz hey dude, the Izuna Drop is simple, just remember not to hold triangle down when you're launching them up into the air. if you hold triangle down, then ryu will stay on the ground. if you press triangle and let it go ryu will lift with the enemmy

Opponent must have leg taken off. If you launch a legless enemy, tilt the left stick towards the enemy and then press Y (only works with the Dragon Sword as it's part of an Obliteration Technique).

If done on the ground it will make Ryu kick his opponent and then decapitate with the sword.

@NarutoSage198 it's an obliteration technique, but he did it while the enemy was airborne that's why he kicked him straight up instead. You press the y button while an enemy's limb is cut off to do an obliteration technique and when you press the y button and a direction with the analog stick at the same time to do a different one. There are 2 obliteration techniques for each limb that's cut off but the head has 1. He did a leg obliteration technique where Ryu kicks the enemy upwards to make
