  • I was lucky enough to be there...amazing,fresh, elemental.Didn't want it to end. What I loved most was when they all huddled around Jason in the cave of rock heaven!

  • So...what about this dvd¿

  • Pagey's good for a guy his age... But here I think the real hero would be John Paul Jones <3

  • What's up with all the weird tv screens? What happened to the good old fashioned red light?

  • Jimmy's on a trip back to 1975 forsure. He's a fuckin God!

  • Robert's really struggling with this one.

  • That Clavinet is mindblowing.

  • Jimmy Page Is the one and only. Nobody comes even close to this man. WOW!!

  • they should release the concert on dvd, if they did can someone tell me

  • @ratchetxrc they will its coming out end of this year apparently

  • @06mgibson really? sweet :) got a source though?

  • @ratchetxrc official zep website

  • @06mgibson cool ill check it out thx

  • rock on!~

  • Enjoyed will be back to hear again.

  • the magic is still here , ok bonham was a bit more powerful , but i can feel it through the screen , they still have the power especially page and the cool mr jones

but also plant had a good voice , i would give 1000 $ for ticket !!

  • I'm V E E E E E R R R R R YYYY PLEASED!!!

  • this song kicks ass. I hate how Led Zeppelin is sometimes thought as a strictly metal band. They did EVERYTHING: acoustic, funk, reggae, blues, eastern-influenced, folk. Their heavier sounding songs comprise a small part of their songs, and they are more blues sounding than metal. It's as if metal players narrowed down their Led influence to the loudest songs and disregarded songs like Trampled Under Foot or Misty Mountain Hop.

  • BRAVO!

  • Man Robert's voice sounds way awesome in this performance! And cheers for one of my favourite Zep songs! :D

  • sounds like jimmy was using a fender blender for the solo.

i think hendrix used it alot.

  • go jason go! make your papa proud kid!

unfortunately, this will be the only show these guys play.

hey!,alot of us missed this show, only the english caught this.

    that mustta been so awesome!

  • I feel that ; even though the band has aged, the music will always live past the legends. Therefore the music will always live in my heart. It is a part of rock n roll history, and that will never change.

  • Jimmy PAGE is god..........

  • LEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEED-ZEEEEEEEEEEEEEEPPEEEEEEEEEEEEELIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN-BABE IM GONNA LEAVE YOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!!!!!!!!!!ROCK AND ROLL

  • Mi favorite song's of Led Zeppelin:Stairway to Heaven,Dazed and Confused,Whole lotta love, black dog,Since i've been loving you,Communication Breakdown,HeartBreaker,Immigrant Song,Tramplet Underfoot,Kashmir,Ramble On,Thank You,Bring it on Home,How Many More Times,In my Time Of Dying,In the Evening,Moby Dick,Rock and Roll,Over The Hills And Far Away,Your Time Is Gonna Come,The Rain Song,The Battle of Evermore,What is and What Shoul Never Be,When The Levee Breaks and Good Times Bad times Yeah!!!!!

  • @unidenalex my favorites levee :)

  • bad what dead the drummer John Bohamm.....big drummer...so is good the band and amazing Led-Zeppelin!!!!!!!!!!!

  • funny how robert plant still introduces the song as if no-one has heard it before

  • this is the best recording I have seen so far of this show! my gosh I wish they would do a world tour, they don't need the money but do it for the fans that never got a chance to seem them in the 70s. Robert plant you're new Music is ok but doesn't even come close to Zeppelin.

  • @blackdog3030 yeah, robert complains that touring with zep will throw out his voice, so i guess thats why he is recording and touring alot?

  • @jimihendrixtribute you cant compare the kind of music hes singing now to led zep style.. its a lot more demanding for his vocal cords to sing any of LZ songs than any of the newest ones. give him a break as an artist i LOVE led zeppelin and truly believe they were, are and 4 ever will b the best band in history, im also sad for them not being together anymore.. but if he wants to go and try new stuff let him be.. after all hes an artist (an incredible one)

  • @cleidom Exactly. It's one thing for JP, JPJ, and JB to bang it out every night on tour on guitar, keyboards and drums, but to ask Robert Plant, who has a 62 year old voice to deliver like he did when he was a kid, I think is being a little demanding. We would all love to see them tour but it's just not realistic for Plant to do so. He wants to explore a different side of his artistry & he should. He said that the reunion gig was scary & he wouldn't be able to deal with that nightly on a tour

  • John Paul Jones underrated by a bunch of idiots like you cause I never have underrated him !!

  • To bad John Paul Jones is using a digital keyboard instead of a real clavinet.

  • fuck john paul nah im just playing fuck we know his underated stop reminding us every 3rd comment

  • in phila i was there 1976 led zep.com has one clip ! was the best show i have ever seen! and wow! still good 2010 !

  • I don't know about anyone else, but I think Plant sounds like he did 20-30 years ago. He reportedly turned down somewhere near $200 million to tour with Zeppelin... He must really not want to do it, because it's obvious from this video that the band still has it and Plant still has most of his voice.

  • Get it !

  • i was there!!!

  • Page has lost nothing. Most of us will just be sitting on the couch sucking down metamucil at 65. He is still cool and inventive as usual

  • Not as good as his dad but it makes sense having someone from the Bonham bloodline playing the drums for Zeppelin. He did pretty good at the O2 show. I always thought Michael Lee was better than Jason though but Jason, even if he weren't a Bonham, fits in very nicely with the band.

  • HE actually played this song a lot better than his dad did on most of the later shows.. Micheal Lee was badass.. but compared to jason his drumming is way sloppier.. jasons more disciplined

  • I don't know. I heard some of the later shows. Actually, I do recall listening to a T.U. from 1980 a couple of nights ago, and while it was probably Page's best soloing ever in that song, John Bonham's drums weren't at his peak. I also do notice at times Michael Lee's drumming was a little off occasionally though. But I'm still sticking by my opinion. Nothing against Jason. No doubt all three are excellent drummers.

  • oo your entitled to your opinion.. no doubt about it. i think Lee was absolutely fiery, totally full of energy.. Just a bit sloppy.. he didnt have the same finesse and discipline as either of the bonhams.. but he was a great performer non the less

  • This is cool. I have to admit tho, the old-school live versions of this had more grit to them, you know? The song was "nastier" sounding lol.

  • guess were still waiting.

I just want robert to give a look see to the original licks jonsey pagey & jason have laid down THATS WHATS GOING TO CHANGE THE WORLD , far more than a tour / tour would be good BUT,new material would let me die a happy man

  • Is the drummer Neil Peart?

  • no, its john bonhams son !!!

    pretty kewl ,eh?

  • JIMMY PAGE IS GOD!!!!!

  • they need to tour 1 more time to remind the children what great music we had back then. plus im 50 and never got to see these dudes lol

  • @kiahl1212 I agree, I'm 19, but I prefer the music of the 50's-80's, not much on the music of today, its just not the same. One thing I admire about the Guitar Hero/Rockband series is that it exposes young kids to this awesome music,

  • Im the same mattsmusicstudio. Apart from bands like foo fighters and chilis there aren't many rock bands coming through especially as the face of music has moved from rock/pop to more r&b and dance. Luckily my mum and dad had a good taste of music and gave me a chance to listen to these great bands. I'm only 20 and i went to see fleetwood mac in november, best concert ever. Wish I had seen zeppelin!

  • why didn't he ask John Lord to lend him his Hohner Clavinet or Hammond...

  • i think it's great robert introduces it as "led zeppelin's terraplane blues".

  • Comment removed

  • it's a blues song by robert johnson. it's a series of double-entendres about a car, like this one

  • @z1inspector a Terraplane itself refers to the Hudson Terraplane built by Hudson Motor Co. in the 1930's. Sweet old rides. Hence the "motorcar" references.

  • You're kidding rt?? Please give ME the chance!!

  • Seeing a Led Zeppelin concert would be a serious honor. Please do it!!!

  • @PappaChubbs92 Plant has said he WILL NOT do a full reunion tour. Too bad. I'm not the biggest Zep fan on the planet, but after actually being at Live-Aid & at the Atlantic Records shows, this more than made up for those disappointing shows. I do wish they'd release this on dvd though. It was recorded professionally.

  • @stevedrums dvd coming out at end of 2011

  • @06mgibson

    Bullshit!

  • @tulkasvala no its not.. do your research.. in an interview with jimmy page he said he is finalising the audio and video ready for release for xmas 2011. An interview with john paul jones also confirmed this. Get your facts right before you insult people.

  • @06mgibson I think you meant Robert Plant said that an interview, ya know how secretive Jimmy is haha :)

But its the truth everyone, this will be out very soon!

  • @GranDrJ trust me man im a huge page fan.. and page said it not plant. plant doesnt really give a fuck about led zep any more coz he has the band of joy.. but page is well into it he wants to do a reunion tour.. fingers crossed

  • @06mgibson would you mind private messaging me a link confirming this? i would love to read an article.

  • i love plant's voice but in the 60/70s when you heard him sing you feel this energy flowing through you, but here i feel exhausted when he struggles.

    love this version too tough!

  • I agree bu this one sounds allot better than some of the songs he tore up during these 2007 concert

  • I agree. When these guys were in their 20's they still had something to prove - a narrative to create - so they had tonnes of energy. Now they have nothing to prove. They are Led Zeppelin! Different vibe but still brilliant. Wasn't there but wish I was...!

  • Great song, band and wish you'd tour the USA, Led Zeppelin...miss ya!

  • Only a Bonham could hit those drums like that this is the real deal man! These boys need to hit the studio and make some tunes one for the road!

  • A good live version of a song that did not always turn out well on stage in the past. Sometimes those days the guys were totally lost when they performed this tune. Here they play it a bit slower (Yes, I like that!), and for the very first time (?) Robert nearly nails all the 9 verses. I'm not sure about the 8th verse, though...maybe another Zep freak out there could sort this out???

  • what tuning did they play in at the show?

  • It's played in it's original tuning, G minor. But several of the other songs at the 02 are played in a lower tuning than the studio versions. The main reason for that could be that it was easier for Plant to sing them in a low tuning.

  • Drummer is on fire here.

  • This is the best Led Zeppelin song and with todays instrumentation JPJ can really nail the organ parts. They need to tour

  • 1 of their best songs!!!!!!

  • happy birthday jimmy page (jan,09th)

  • Fuck, quarreling on utube? Set a meeting and get in a REAL FIGHT U ASSHOLES.

  • Indeed! Let me know where and when so the last man (or woman) standing gets to be beaten about the head and neck with a tire iron by none other than yours truly.

  • Pffft. Tire iron? I'm sure these people wouldn't be messing if they knew you were Al Capone.

  • lololololol

    THATS FUNNIEEEEE

im gonna post a coment like that = next time 2 idiots start youtube mesg each other !!!

  • I think Michael Lee from the Page and Plant tours is a better drummer than Jason. No disrespect though, I like Jason. But no one can get to good ol' Bonzo Bonham's level of drumming!

  • this is song is fuckin awesome... on the album atleast. i was never fond of their live performances of this song.

  • Their live versions kick ass! Especially a lot of the ones from 1980. They turned that song into a monster!

  • Ohhh well now i'm convinced... thank you for telling me what i think kicks ass. it's a good thing heroes such as yourself are around to correct people's opinions...

  • You're welcome. Anytime. Now that I'm on a roll to get you to think of stuff, I want you to worship Satan and masturbate to Big Bird.

(I was stating my own opinion. Not your opinion. For your opinion about the song contradicts mine. If you go back and read my previous reply you can easily tell I was stating my own opinion. Cheers.)

  • looked more like you were convinced that your "opinion" was fact and stated it as such. So yeah, cheers.

  • I was stating it as an opinion. You all are taking it that I tried to present it as fact. (When everyone knows music is all a matter of an opinion anyway.) Ha ha! Whatever!

  • I mean, fuck. The first two words I typed were "I think..." I didn't say, "It is fact..."

  • The first two words you typed were, "Their live" followed by, "versions kick ass". This is what I was responding to. No where in your response did you say "I think".

  • Oh. I thought you were referring to another comment I made. I now realize the one you were replying to. Anyway, I don't care. Who gives a fuck. Why are you arguing this shit anyway? Either take it or leave it. Don't know what to tell you. Now you're arguing about my intent of my reply to you. This is stuff I don't care about. Have a good day.

  • If you don't care, why do you keep replying?

  • Ah, fuck. I'm way confused now. I'm sorry for that last reply. (For real, I'm sorry.) It was really dick headed. I yet again got it confused with, yet, another reply. (It wasn't intended to sound mean or anything anyway. I just have a shitty way of writing things sometimes.) Okay. Now. To reply for real this time: Basically, I was trying to say I love their live stuff. That's my whole point. I can't tell you what to believe, obviously and wasn't trying to really.

    Lol at these guys

  • FlavorRed: This is why I always personally address comments by adding the screen name (like I did here with your name) whenever I post directly to another person. I've seen this happen too often all over YT :O(

  • My bad.

  • KarmicOmen, forget the "my bad" post. Yet again I'm still confused by all this mess! Now I see what you're saying. I am thankful for people like you who address people by name. Maybe I should do it more often as well to prevent confusion. Thanks.

  • this sorta sounds like too young too fall in love by motley crue...not really but i can hear it

  • haha,Jonesy and his Stevie Wonder Appeal in this song.

    <3333

  • this is possibly my favorite Zeppelin songs

  • i dont know why.. it had a badass beat to it..

  • @beeterolds more like fuckin music lmao

  • This has one of the raunchiest grooves in the history of hard rock. This is on old-school, nineteen 70's, cocaine and weed-laced "fuckin" song. Notice the intentional omission of the letter "g" at the end of "fuckin". There's a difference between "fucking" and "fuckin", if ya know what I mean lol.

  • this has the groove from hell (partly thanks to the brilliant sound engineering at that show) but i did miss plant's scratchy vocals. they give the song so much attitude. i know he has to be careful with his voice these days, but i just wish he'd thrown it in more. still, the man can do no wrong no matter how he sings it. kick-ass bridge and ending with that super high pitched shredding by jimmy.

  • hahahaha maybe

  • Was In My Time of Dying at the show? What about Celebration Day?

  • In my time of dying was..no celebration day tho

  • C'mon guys, get yer asses on the road: give us all a chance to relive the magic!!!

  • i heard they are thinking of doing a tour in late 2009. white snake are going to tour with them. this is apparently from the lead singer of white snake , who is a close friend of robert, and managed to persuade robert to tour. !!!

  • o yeah thats a good song mate, also tea for one, that song is awesome,

  • ok i know now your comment is out dated

    however,

what was your source. i never heard of whitesnake being a part of it or david talking him into anything !

love to hear if their was any truth to that !!!

  • From what I've heard, it is definite, but Robert Plant still has commitments to Allison Krauss and T-Bone Burnett to fulfull before Zeppelin can tour. Jimmy and John Paul have both said that they are going to to tour.

  • you think this is long. this actually probably one of their shortest performances of this song it normally ran at about nine and a half to te minutes

  • thats especially long because they used to play it much faster live. just look at when they did it at earls court

  • Never. That would be unbelievable to see live. I still dont understand why they didnt play it. Its Jimmys favorite song.

  • If they do another show In the future to come It would be nice If they did Achilles Last Stand.

  • John Paul Jones- most underrated person in any band ever.

amazing song! hoping for a world tour!

  • yeah thats what i always tought like the musicians in the doors, since jim morrison

    over shined them

  • @AWLZAWLZ but everyone loves him!

  • awesome!
