Decided to get a full sleeve tattoo, with the famous koi fish swimming up water among other things( flowers, writing etc). Though about this for now 2 years, and without going into detail the tattoo rly has a meaning to me, being born in Asia and living there for 6 years among other reasons. Anyways; Can anyone give me an estimation of how long the tattoo will look good? This is if i dont expose it to sunlight, go to a profesional shop, take good care of skin/tattoo. Any xperience any1?

if they get minimum exposure they can look good for about 10 years

depends on your exposure to the sun. if ur in the sun alot a whole lot on a regular basis without sunblock (not sunscreen) u drasticaly fade your tattoo. if your in the sun everynow and then to do normal everyday activites in the sun. (driving, cutting the grass etc.) ur tattoo will be good for about 13 years. and then jus go get em touched up ya kno.

Depending of the Artist, most small tatts have a set cost. But sleeves are different since there so big, typically from what i have seen its around 100-150 an hour for anyone good.

Certain parts of your arm are some of the worst places to get tattoo'd... your wrist, inside of your elbo, and underside of your upper arm is by far the worst parts on your arm, and the wrist is one of the worst spots on your entire body for pain, I don't have any back tattoo's so im not really sure how to compare it, but I would guess the wrist, elbo, and underarm area are worse than on your back.

try get pictures of things you want in it and just tell him/her your ideas and th guy will talk to you about it and ask him to custom design it for you and basically try give him/her a good idea of what you want and youll be fine and should come out with a great tattoo
